melono: Maybe something like Whenever a creature you control dies, if ti was the second creature that died this turn under your control, ... Sounds kind of ugly. The first thing that came to my mind was Whenever a creature you control dies for the second time each turn, ... but that would make the case of multiple creatures dying at the same time ambiguous. The reminder would help I guess.

Flo00: 2 things: first, you forgot to add "You may choose new targets for the copy." Second, seems a little high for the restriction. Just going off of your own spells, and barring  , that's no less than six mana required. seems reasonable for the activation cost.
My entry:
Neoplastic Cognition   Enchantment  Flash
Split second (As long as this spell is on the stack, players can’t cast spells or activate abilities that aren’t mana abilities.)
At the beginning of each end step, for every second +1/+1 counter put on a permanent this turn, you may draw a card. Then, for every second card you drew this turn, put a +1/+1 counter on target permanent.
, Discard two cards: Put two +1/+1 counters on target permanent. [Simic watermark] |

Just going off of your own spells, and barring , that's no less than six mana required. seems reasonable for the activation cost. Thanks for the catch. I thought more about using this in your opponnent's turn. I think that can be pretty powerfull and justifies . Or it forces your opponent(s) to make some strange counterplays around it. You can also use it in a counterwar, since the second spell will most likely be a counterspell. |

So I'm absolutely playing with fire here, but I think this may be niche enough. Most of the time it's just a poor-man's Wild Ricochet, but it can be a blowout against Grapeshot finishers and would have some other uses I imagine. |

 : Return ~ to their owner's hand. Activate this ability only any time you could cast an instant. Why the "only"? Usually you can only activate it sorcery speed. The application of that sentence seems to restrict uncertain mana from puting the game in weird situations. (Also it should have totally been on Selvala, Explorer Returned.) Maybe you were aiming at something like Teferi's emblem? You may activate this ability on any player’s turn any time you could cast an instant. |

Hello, guys! So, this is my first post in the forum. (I also just registered!) Please tell me I got posting right. I hope I did. Here is the card I made for this week. View AttachmentWelcome. There's nothing wrong with it persay that I see, but I do have some tips if you're interested. If you want the bigger picture that most everyone else is using, instead of attaching it directly to a post, put it somewhere else on the internet first and then link to it using the following copy posta. ![]() . I use a private image posting server (PIPS) on discord for this, but imgur, google drive, or any other number of sites that host images will also work. While not strictly necessary, it's a relatively common practice on the forums to include a text version of any renders you post. You can find a style guide to doing decorative pictures in 'a planeswalkers guide for posting syntax,' or you can type them out like I do because I worry a precisely correct amount about screen reader accessability (My good aunt is two steps short of needing a screen reader, and I don't want to be the one potentially putting up a barrier to her participation in anything.). If you have any technical issues, the MSE discord has a help channel or you can post directly to that section of the forums. Have fun. |
