Save this image as "deselected.png" to your MSE/resources/ folder:

Cajun Thank you the bug disappeared for MSE / resources / folder: deselected but the bug appeared for the command MSE / resources / folder: selected by deduction I had the idea to repeat the same technique that you told me to do to fix my bug on the command deselected and I was able to solve the problem for the command selected by copy paste the selected_yes.png file and rename to selected.png have a nice day hedge

So, I don't necessarily mean to necro this post, but this is still an ongoing issue with the most recent download of MSE and MSE Advanced. It looks like the images are actually named "selected_no" and "selected_yes" instead of "deselected" and "selected". So, not sure if someone changed the reference names at some point...

So this seemed like the only relevant place to ask this. I'm having a similar problem, only i'm pretty positive i accidentally overwrote my roaming file for mse, and i think im missing the file completely that is being told to be fixed. I've tried reinstalling it, but it does seem to do anything to my actual roaming folder as far as the missing files...
I only have a "cache" folder, and a file labeled "mse8.config".
Any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated...
