Welcome to the Card of the Week Contest! To participate in this Contest you'll have to design a card along the contest guidelines and throw it into the arena with other competitors' entries! At the end of each week, a winner will be determined by forum poll. The winner's card will be rendered and featured on the Welcome page, and the winner decides the challenge for the next week's Contest! Here we go, competitors: our three-hundred and twenty-sixth challenge! The winner of the "20/20 Vision" poll was Fermat with...And the challenge issued by our runner-up was... Choose one — - Target entry becomes common.
- Target entry becomes uncommon.
So without further ado, design a common or uncommon with the phrase Choose one — To increase your chances of winning and to also make creating the poll easier on whomever is doing so, please try to use a render. Additionally, please try to keep your entry edits all in one post - if you need to change it you can put your old entry in a spoiler marked "Old entry" and leave the newest rendition to be seen. Just use the edit button in the top/right of your original post. And now, time to begin the challenge! Best of luck, competitors!

Clearview Glen Land Clearview Glen enters the battlefield tapped. You may have Clearview Glen enter the battlefield untapped. If you do, sacrifice it at the beginning of the next end step. When Clearview Glen enters the battlefield, choose one— • Target creature gains vigilance until end of turn. • Target creature gains first strike until end of turn. : Add .
This is part of a 5-card cycle. If you'd like to see the rest of the cycle, let me know.

If I'm not mistaken, the futuristic batching keyword was created by Kinotherapy for Living in Scar City. Thanks, Kino!

I made a sexy barbarian: {Render} Charming Barbarian Creature - Human Barbarian When ~ enters the battlefield, choose one— • Add R for each creature you control. • Exile the top card of your library. You may play that card this turn. • Destroy target artifact. 2/2

MaRo talks a lot about choices that aren't really choices, because 99% of the time, only one of them will be chosen. I worry that this design fits into that category, hard. Look at the proto-fabricate of Magic Origins: nobody ever chose the +1/+1 counter, because a flier was almost always so much better.

Not sure which card from ORI you're referring to--the only thing I could find that fit those parameters was Sandsteppe Outcast from Fate Reforged--but I agree with what you're saying. Revising my entry. Thanks for pointing this out.

Underworld Gifts 2G Sorcery Uncommon Choose one. If Underworld Gifts was cast from your graveyard, choose two instead — • Return target permanent card from your graveyard to your hand. • Put a deathtouch counter on each of up to two target creatures. Flashback 4B

FLAREdirector: Shoot. That's the exact card I was thinking about, and I knew I was prolly wrong about the set while I was writing it. Thanks for the correction. As for your adjustment, I'm still not sure the first mode will ever be chosen. The only problem is, having it only affect each opponent might push it up to . Although, considering the power level of s lately...

I haven't adjusted it yet, sdfkjgh. LOL. I'm going to replace it with an entirely different card. Uh, soon. As soon as I come up with a good idea that isn't secretly a bad idea I'm just attached to.

FLAREdirector: I could've sworn the first choice said "target player loses life" etc. Braim need sleep badly.
