and the link to the original art You should prolly specify an order to the bottomed cards, either in any order or in a random order.

Image link{Bonus Card Using the Image} Note: I am aware of course that stun counters aren't normally put on exiled cards. I figure it's something which can be done though, as exiled cards can have counters put on them and there are other cases of counters being put on permanents that don't normally use them (like +1/+1 counters on non-creature non-vehicle artifacts). Naturally the stun counter isn't doing anything on those exiled cards, other than interactions with this card. Why not use a time counter? Less words used for one, and flavor for another. The guy freezes and defrosts. He's not a time wizard.

This has been open for quite a while... emberfire17 wins. Full judging maybe later. No promises though.

Thanks for the win! For the next challenge, take one of your favorite MtG legendary creatures and reimagine them as a walker.

Obviously since the original the ability has been done several times, but I'll never forget how much I adored Doran, the Siege Tower when I first saw it. Such a simple and clean, yet game-changing ability! I know the ability has been done on a planeswalker already, but let's bring it back to where it belongs, shall we?

Well, I was certainly not lacking options for this one. I did consider Kruphix or Jin-Gitaxias, but an idea struck me I really wanted to try. So, the flavor here: This is an alternate version of Mulgrotha (because elementals can't be planeswalkers) who came to be in a less destroyed Urborg. Still overflowing with black mana, but its ancient kingdoms had not so much been eradicated, but instead slowly decayed in utter shells of their former selves. In the more fuzzy rules of the pre-mending era with a more civilized Urborg, Mulgrotha's embodiment of the island ended up transformed into a being which still embodied her nature as an avatar of Yavimaya's offshoot, but in mortal form. Other than a colder relationship with the original Maro-Sorcerer and more struggles with her own identity, things play out much the same. However, after the mending she ends up igniting her own spark and travels the multiverse. At some point or another, she encounters Yarok on Zendikar. She senses a similar kind of being, an elemental made to embody a place of decay. A being meant to represent luscious life twisted by the environment being made decrepit. With this connect, Mulgrotha acts her elemental magic to bind Yarok to such a degree as to both become a part of each other, and thus able to planeswalk together.

I decided to go with someone who's lore feels like it had been forgotten about in the new set.
