Katya is a young girl who loves her stuffed fox, Aleandra, dearly. So it makes sense that her spark related to her love of foxes. Seriously? What are the chances of two people having stuffed foxes in their room when they read that?

Time for a last minute entry then!
Laja is a character I once came up with for a Pen & Paper game after stumbling across this artwork by pure accident. Born as a faerie without wings she got abandoned by her tribe at a young age, she then met the beast wolf Faex and forged a bond with him. In the game, Laja is a combination of a beastmaster, wolf druid & a rider - allowing her to buff and/or heal her companion at will, intimidating her opponents while she rides into battle on his back, coordinating his attacks with the rest of the team if necessary.
Reminder: Ruthless is my own deciduous mechanic taken from (fittingly enough ) Lone Wolf.

Happy new year everyone! Judging has arrived: {Idea}What I really like about Nabose is how they interact with suspend and still works if you don't have any suspend cards. What I don't like is that the doesn't do anything on its own. If I use it and then Nabose gets killed, I just exiled a card from my deck. I really like the idea of the calendar's scry ability, that your fate is fixed. It sounds like an effect that needs to be keyworded to cover up a range of corner cases. There are things that allow you to cast from the top of you library or scry, which lets you put cards on the bottom. Does the effect then apply to the new top card? And I'm pretty sure there are some other strange effects to take in account. The second ability of the calendar works great with Nabose and sounds nice. It also sounds easy to abuse. Restock and Revival Experiment are the first things that come to my mind and I'm sure there are more broken things to do with it. {emberfire17}A fox tribal 'walker sounds interesting. Compared with various Gideons I think she could be bigger than just a 2/2. Also with the rebalancing I think the second ability could maybe cost less loyalty.
{pistonsmcgraw}As with Idea's entry, I don't like that the doesn't do anything on its own. It feels like about every second turn Mahogany won't do anything except prepare for the other ability. Just adding a scry 1 (or maybe even surveil 1 for synergy) to the ability would make it feel much better. {Daij_Djan}First off, I'm amazed that you had a living wolf around when you read this challenge. Ok, joke aside. I like how Laja can work with any creature but works really well with her bestie. I also like how the cost reflect that her effects are way more green than black.
{Ymonrah}So you life on the north pole? I think the idea of the Gift token is funny. I just don't think anyone should ever activate this; especially with lifesurge around. I think there should ba a way to activate this yourself. Maybe something like Saint Nikolavs's controller and target opponent of them creates a Gift token. And just a small thing on wording, I think what you are looking for is an "interveining if clause" (603.4 here). So you want the "if you control seven or less Elk creatures" before the "create". I like all the entries. There can only be one {winner}This one goes to Daij_Djan, since aside from being an interesting card it did the best job of conveying the flavor of that one "thing" she allways wants and has with her. 2nd place goes to emberfire17

You don't remove the spell from exile you copy it, so you can cast it using the - on future turns.

My intention was for things like scry not to work (in my head putting a card on the bottom is changing the order since it's only changing the card's position within the deck) but casting from the top to work.

You don't remove the spell from exile you copy it, so you can cast it using the - on future turns. I know. You need to twice to get enough counters to once. So you can go +--+-dead or +--++-++-... And that is assuming she doesn't get attacked.

First off, I'm amazed that you had a living wolf around when you read this challenge.
Wait.. You don't? I've been told the wolf beast sitting to my right at my computer would be a bit weird and intimidating to others - but never believed them..
No seriously, I completely forgot that part of the challenge Let's say, my character folder to my right was totally and most definitely open so that I at least had the picture to look at, shall we?
Big thanks for the win! Glad you liked the mana cost in particular, since I originally planned on costing her at but then realized there really wasn't much black about her^^
For your next challenge, talking about being just barely in a color: Take a look at the 2021 Color Pie article. Design a monocolored planeswalker featuring at least one ability merely tertiary in its slice of the color pie!

I did the lazy thing and just went with the first three things in white's list: animating lands, basic land counting and card draw. Seana, Meadowherder Legendary Planeswalker - Seana Support abilities your team controls can target noncreature permanents. : Parley — Each player reveals the top card of their library. Support X, where X is the number of nonland cards revealed this way. Then each player draws a card. : Until end of turn, target Plains becomes a 0/0 Elemental creature with haste, vigilance and “This creature gets +1/+1 for each Plains your Team controls.”

Gaif, Master Alienist Legendary Planeswalker — Gaif Whenever a creature deals damage to ~, destroy it. : For each creature that died under your opponents' control since your previous turn, create a 1/1 black Horror creature token. , Sacrifice X Horrors: Gain control of target creature with mana value X for as long as you control ~. , Sacrifice a non-Horror creature: search your library for a Horror permanent card with mana value equal to the sacrificed creature's mana value plus 1 and put it onto the battlefield with a haste counter on it. Then shuffle.

Should have expected to not meet the deadline, but oh well Finally, let's go! { Flo00}Interesting static ability. Of course at first glimpse you want to target your lands in preparation for the animating them – but that aside bein able to buff uncrewed Vehicles definitely has its uses as well. If only the Support ability itself wasn't as low powered for the most part.. Not much else to say – it's a clever design and cudos for doing a team-based walker. { Idea}That Protection line is so hilariously flavorful – love it despite my gameplay concerns with it That aside, interesting that nicely feeds into the ultimate. Other than that, I don't have much to add besides a minor wording nitpick. { Reality Glitch}I'm a bit torn on Gaif. On the one hand, I love how each ability nicely fits into the next one, but on the other hand exactly worries me considering Horrors really aren't that deep of a tribe. You really want to use the tokens to sacrifice for the , but how many of those will you get when the static ability pretty much discourages opponents from attacking unless they can remove Gaif in a single swing for sure? And how many Horrors even are there (especially keeping in mind the mana value requirement)) worth tutoring for for the ultimate after you went through all the trouble? All in all, I feel like Gaif reads awesome, but probably plays worse. { Jartis}I love that , that's a very cool ability. The other two abiliies feel rather unbalanced though. I might be missing something, but the ultimate feels really weak – especially considering Hyza doesn't even help you milling yourself in the first place. Sure, if you pair this with selfmill, you can craft a perfect library (but that feels way too much additional effort for an ultimate), or you have a long-game protection against milling yourself out – but often does that ever come up? On the other hand, a planeswalker which cannot be dealt damage by creatures feels insanely powerful.. {And the winner is..} Flo00!

{emberfire17}Does a good job in showing off a combination of characters from Innistrad and Zendikar. Seems well balanced. Just the emblem is a bit unterwhelming. Most times when you get to 7 loyalty you won't have a lot of lands to play anymore aside from dopdecking one.
{Idea}A good combination of Tarkir and Kamigawa. I especially like how the green side does that. The seems stronger than the . Aside from having 0 loyalty (oops), the black side looks stronger, yet I also like how the green side works better with enchantments as a compensation. I think the should target the creatures it destroys. Maybe something like "Tap any number of modified creatures you control. When you do, destroy that many target creatures with ..." {pistonsmcgraw}I like the flavor of this. It's strong, but I guess that's ok for a 3 color 6 mana walker. Maybe the is a bit fast to get to. The effects are all pretty generic, meaning they could fit anywhere. Nothing on the card tells me where they are from. My best guess is that one of the worlds would be Ravnica, since that is where Jace spends a lot of time and also where he met Vraska the first time. emberfire17 wins.

Ugin Transcendent Legendary Planeswalker - Ugin If you would lose unspent mana, that mana becomes colorless instead.
: Add one mana of any color. : Pay any amount of . When you do, Ugin Transcendent deals that much damage to any target and you draw that many cards. : Each player sacrifices a nonland, non-Ugin permanent that is one or more colors or could produce colored mana. {4}
went for the cheap shot. tried to depict him in the process of becoming the colorless master he is, justifying the +1 with this part of the wiki article:

A little extra backstory. As a child, Ekatal was about as close as one could conceivably be to the sylex being used while still surviving. He knew of the ice age since that young, growing up with it as his new normal, never quite able to forget the sight he witnessed. he lived in an extremely isolated community, never quite being involved with the affairs of the world or even really knowing much about them. However, as he aged and people sought someone to be his successor as chief, he grew terrified of the horrors of death, especially with the faint memory of phyrexian horrors still in his mind and the recent talk of necromancers. He applied his ice magic in an effort to find a way to slow his aging, but with little success, but he pressed on. Eventually, he ended up encasing himself in ice, such that the villagers presumed him dead and threw him away in a ritual ceremony. The events of time spiral interfered with his spell, however, causing it to break far earlier than it otherwise would have been. The terror of phyrexians, however, sent him into such a panic his spark ignited, and he quickly escaped from the plane to a new one. His newly empowered ice magic could now cast the spell he always dreamed of, just in time to obtain an unaging body before the mending reduced planeswalkers to something far lesser than what they had once been. Nonetheless, just in case, Ekatal preserved magic in ice for ages, preparing for any eventual need for stores of magic like planeswalkers of old. That time came during the phyrexian invasion of the multiverse, and in a panic, Ekatal took the only step he could think of, that his memory allowed him: To mimic Urza's act, or his own perspective of it, by freezing over his new home plane in ice and frost, sealing away the phyrexians and himself, the epicenter of this spell. It would be a long time before, still unable to release himself from his own freezing, Ekatal grew attuned the frost around him and rose again as an elemental, with his human self as a frozen core.

Margul, the Dreamer Legendary Planeswalker - Margul Add . If you control one or more Powerstone tokens, create another one. Repeat for Blood, Clue, Food, and Treasure tokens. You get an emblem with "Artifacts you control are creatures in addition to their other types and have 'This creature's power and toughness are equal to the number of artifacts you control.'" Margul is a construct who has become self aware and is hoping to lead an artifact revolution.

@, the Lost City Legendary Land Planeswalker — @ , : Add . This ability is a mana ability. (It may be activated any time.), : Add one mana of any color. This ability is a mana ability. Grandeur — Discard another card named ~: search your library for a @ card with a different name or a Citizen card, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Then shuffle. Lore: Don't have a name for them yet, but they come from a plane where entire cities are singular lifeforms. This city's spark ignited as a result of Tibalt going "How do you cause an entire city untold pain? Ah; genocide."
