{sdfkjgh}Iji is very restrictive in what they do. Each ability is dependent on the ability before it. The first you could skip by just drawing the reflection, but the ::-10:: needs the ::-3::. That is, if we are playing by the same commander rules. The official rules wouldn't allow this at all, since a card can't bring other cards from outside the game. The usual house rule I'm familiar with is that you only have 1 copy of each card in your deck and "wishboard". With that in mind, the ::-3:: will only ever work once in the whole game. Making the ::-10:: very fragile, aside from being really hard to reach 10 counters. And why would you only allow this as a commander? Why can't I play this in my Atraxa Deck? Ada's Reflection is mostly an expensive Huatli's Raptor. Ada is an intersting build-around piece. Some deatials: • Iji's type sould probably be Iji, not Ada. • Ada's last ability would be better readable if she said "Populate three times, then proliferate three times. • Ada's Reminder only explains Populate, not proliferate and that's at the end after the triple proliferate. The reminder should probably be after the first two abilities. (Or you omit it completely.) {Daij_Djan}Its a fun Fearie walker. No complaints here. The second sentence might be shortened to You may have each player mill a card.
{lordpat}That's an interesting tribal card since it doesn't want you to play all your stuff but tells you to keep some spells for later turns. I like the divinity mechanic. It goes in the direction of energy, but feels different and new. I'd expect either very few cards that deal with it or harder conditions on lower rarities.
I also don't speak enflish.
{sorsal}Solid artifact walker. The ultimate reminds me of Gideon, Ally of Zendikar's emblem. The middle ability should probably not target your artifacts and have a reflexive trigger, so something like You may tap two untapped artifacts you control. When you do, tap up to three target artifacts or creatures. I like that you can use equipment and other artifacts without tap abilities for the middle one. Gives you another thing you can build around.

Thanks for the win! I swear the enflish thing was on purpose ; )
Ok, seeing tamiyo become phyrexian was tough (spoilers) but it made me wonder.
Design another compleated planeswalker. You can use the phyrexian mana cost or you can do something else that you think would work to make it feel "phyrexian".

Wanted to try a tribal planeswalker that I often see requested on MaRo's blog, so I went with the idea of a Sliver planeswalker--here it's a scientist studying them. Their abilities represent researching Slivers, breeding them, and eventually discovering the Queen (or Legion or First Sliver, etc). Edit: Wow I missed the whole last page here, please disregard!

So I tried a planeswalker who remembered what they once could do, but was losing their spark now they'd been compleated. A bit like Sarkhan the Mad, who can only "tick" down because the process hasn't been perfected yet.

Ajani, Compleated Protector Planeswalker - Ajani Compleated (This planeswalker enters with two fewer loyalty counters for each time life was paid for a phyreian mana slybol.) : Put a +1/+1 counter on up to one target creature. It gains your chioce of first strike, trample or vigilance until end of turn. : Destroy target artifact or tapped creature. : Return each permanent card from your graveyard to the battlefield. Adapted the reminder to work with multiple phyrexian symbols. No joke, that's what the rules really say the ability does: Compleated is a static ability found on some planeswalker cards. Compleated means “If this permanent would enter the battlefield with one or more loyalty counters on it and the player who cast it chose to pay life for any part of its cost represented by Phyrexian mana symbols, it instead enters the battlefield with that many loyalty counters minus two for each of those mana symbols.”

Very clever on WoTC's part as it makes Phyrexian mana designs a lot easier to keep balanced in the long run.

Flo00 : There's a story reason why Iji's subtype is Ada, and it's because Iji isn't actually Iji, it's a part of Ada. A probe, if you will, searching the Multiverse for a way to free its mistress.
The worst has happened, and Phyrexia has almost certainly won: The original Lorwyn 5 have been captured, and most have been compleated.
Once-proud healer and support mage Ajani is now concerned only with flensing the nonbelievers:
Ajani Coilmane Legendary Planeswalker--Ajani : You gain 4 life. Distribute a loss of 4 life among any number of target opponents and a loss of up to 4 loyalty counters from among any number of target planeswalkers those players control. : Put a -1/-1 counter on each creature your opponents control. Creatures you control gain first strike until end of turn. : Create a white and black Avatar creature token with trample and “This creature’s power and toughness are each equal to your life total.”
Chandra has been given but two commands: Kill the rebel Urabrask and all the Mirran partisans he harbors, then find her girlfriend and either kill her, or capture and bring her into the fold:
Chandra, Furnace Warden Legendary Planeswalker--Chandra Compleated, infect : Chandra, Furnace Warden deals 1 damage to target player or 2 damage to target planeswalker. : Chandra, Furnace Warden deals X damage to target creature. : Chandra, Furnace Warden deals 10 damage to target player or planeswalker and each creature that player or that planeswalker’s controller controls.
Jace's compleation process was the most tortuous of all. It personally took Jin-Gitaxias several times to break Jace's mind, as each time revealed another inner kernel of psychic protection. However, Praetor Jin-Gitaxias is nothing if not patient, and soon the poor, deluded fool's greatest fear was revealed, splayed out on the operating table like his dissected body: losing his identity, yet again. How fitting that Praetor Jin-Gitaxias then gave him a new identity within glorious Phyrexia:
Core Monitor 2451 Legendary Planeswalker--Jace : Each player draws a card. Each opponent discards two cards. : Target player discards X cards. : Each player mills twenty cards.
Due to Liliana's repeated use of The Chain Veil, her compleation was easiest of all:
Liliana, Steel Thane Legendary Planeswalker--Liliana Compleated : Each player sacrifices a creature and discards a card. : Search your library for a card with mana value of X, reveal it, put it into your hand, lose X life, then shuffle. : Put all permanent cards from all graveyards onto the battlefield under your control.
And where, you may ask, is the Wildspeaker? Oh, don't worry, we still have him. We just seem to have come upon an anomaly, as all our attempts at compleation have thus far failed. But we, like Praetor Jin-Gitaxias, are patient, and we will find a way, eventually--
This is a call out to all surviving Mirrans! Our spies have found a captured planeswalker who is totally immune to Phyresis, like our beloved Lady. This is a golden opportunity that we cannot pass up! Rescue him at all costs, and bring him safely to Waypoint 7. I eagerly look forward to seeing this new recruit help us reclaim our home. THE HEART OF MIRRODIN STILL BURNS!!!

Adapted the reminder to work with multiple phyrexian symbols. No joke, that's what the rules really say the ability does Big thanks for the note. I figured it'd work this way, but wasn't sure about it For my own design, I decided to go with the one planeswalker I could find some artwork that'd make him look at least somehow phyrexian: Jace. I wanted to keep the design close to his existing planeswalker cards, but with a darker twist - so here we go:

I am so sorry, I've been super busy. I'll give very brief feedback. Elde: I actually like the first -2. The passive is unnecesary considering that it doesn't have + abilities. Ajani Compleat: Very cool, I like how it feels like an "X" planeswalker. It's tough to find a balance for these kinds of cards though, so I think 3 pm in its cost is too many. Still I like the abilities. Ajani #2 : Sorry, one entry per contestant. I like the parallel to preators here. But the +1 is kind of weird. Balance is scary here as 4 life is a lot of reach for a + ability. The first - is okay and the ult is very ajani, although I don't see the black there. I wish it was something more along the liens of "Equal to the difference of life totals" or something like that. Although then again, using the ult is a bit silly when you can keep +1 to drain for 4 (!). Ubrask: I love the idea, but the wording is a bit weird. I think it needs without paying their cost, because otherwise you'll need to care about loyalty. The -2, it feels too strong for a 3 mana pw. The ult is ambigious (It could be read as all creatures, all planeswalkers, and then all players that were dealt damage, which I'm pretty sure it wasn' the intention), but it works great with the +1. I think the idea is there but it needs to be reworked. Jace: 2 mana walkers are so weird. Fatesteal kind of makes sense for compleat jace, but I really hate how fateseal plays. The +1 is kind of cool, it might be an intresting buid around. I think this card needs to cost 1 more so that you can have a bit more freedom with its abilities. Designing a vanilla 2 mana walker is tough enough, but with this modal stuff, too much. I'm gonna give the win to Flo00.

Unlike Homer Simpson, I actually kinda hate it when a win is by default.
Let's do a tangential--
Teferi: Typical.
--Discworld--
Ral: There's a shocker.
--reference. Take any planeswalker currently represented by one or more cards, and design a whole new alternate reality version of them, keeping only the feel of the character, but not the color identity, or any of their previous abilities. I also want a bit of a blurb explaining things, which can be as complex as an entire multi-line backstory, or as simple as the single question "What if X?"
Teferi: Y'know, referencing Marvel would've been easier, and more topical.
Here's an example. "What if, as penance for his hubris, Kytheon entered into servitude under Erebos?":
Kytheon, Servant of Erebos Legendary Planeswalker--Gideon Whenever a creature dies, put a loyalty counter on Kytheon, Servant of Erebos. : Target creature gets -1/-1 until end of turn for each loyalty counter on Kytheon, Servant of Erebos. : Until end of turn, Kytheon, Servant of Erebos becomes a Human Soldier creature with power and toughness each equal to the number of loyalty counters on him and gains indestructible. He’s still a planeswalker. Prevent all damage that would be dealt to him this turn. : Destroy all creatures.
EDIT: Yes, gamma3, you are correct. Thank you for pointing that out. I am amending the rules of the Challenge: In order to establish the identity of the character, you are allowed up to one ability from any of your chosen character's previously printed incarnations.

Long ago in a distant land, a young empress, still grieving from the loss of her friend, turned to the imposing duty of keeping order in her nation. But instead of being commemorated for her efforts, she was disposed of, with her own friend's supposed death being used as a means to strip her title and role. Now no more than a common citizen in an increasingly controlling world, the former empress turned to technology, becoming a test pilot for the Futurists in order to have some sort of meaning in her life. But deep inside her, she wishes whatever took her friend away took her instead.
Beep! Beep! Beep!Hikaru's eyes rushed open as the incessant droning of her alarm filled her ears. She frantically slapped the button on top of the dragon-shaped annoyance and lazily rises from her bed and looks around her tiny apartment, tiny mechanical contraptions shaped like folding origami scattered across her desk. Slowly, a many-legged, dragon-like machine, seemingly folded out of a rich, golden foil, crawled down from its stick-like perch and towards Hikaru, who stroked the construct gently. "Mornin', Naoko" the mechanic softly said. "Are you feeling sleepy today?" The inchworm-like contraption wriggled up and down. "Me too..." Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Hikaru quickly grabbed Naoko, the robot folding around her arm, before throwing on a coat and opening the door, saying absentmindedly "Morning. How can I help you?" to whoever was at the door. The young test pilot who stood at Hikaru's door responded "Morning Hikaru! Just wanted to check in on you and remind you that your meeting was today." The meeting? Hikaru suddenly jerked completely awake and frantically ran to change, telling her younger friend, "Oh crap I nearly forgot! Thanks Hirori." "Any time!"
Unspeakable Coffee House in downtown Otawara was a popular spot for scientists, inventors, directors... and practically every other member of the Saiba Futurists. The open roof, large windows, comfy booths, and massive collection of books all made patrons feel like home, as does the wide variety of house brews and dishes available. The coffee house wasn't very busy at the moment. Until waves and waves of people began to enter the establishment. It was unspoken tradition for Futurists to head to Unspeakable Coffee House after a meeting, and since one of the largest conferences of the year just finished, the rush was expected. Waiters quickly managed to sort through the oncoming horde and eventually found seats for everyone. Hikaru practically collapsed into the booth as her companions, a dark-skinned, black-haired human and a moonfolk with her tendrils tied into a ponytail, took their seats. "That meeting wore you out, huh?" Arima asked, the young scientist looking at the menu. Hikaru responded by saying wearily, "How could it not?" Naoko slowly crawled out from under Hikaru's blue and gold cloak and wrapped around her arm slowly. The other Futurists mumbled about increasing scrutiny from the Imperials, suspicious robberies, and the other usual subjects. Kotori and Arima tore into their dumplings as Hikaru slowly slurped down her soup, trying to process her thoughts. She had thought she had seen someone familiar at the meeting... but now her memory was hazy. Probably just the result of being sleep-deprived. The three began to chatter about the meeting: the new projects being introduced, the increased precautions, the inside info. Hikaru could barely keep track. Eventually though, she finished her meal and bid her friends farewell. She needed a nap. Badly.
Hikaru WIP Hikaru, Sun of Two Heavens Legendary Planeswalker - Hikaru Flash As long as Hikaru entered the battlefield this turn, you may activate her loyalty abilities any time you could cast an instant. : Create a 1/1 Pilot creature token with pilot ability. : Return target spell or nonland permanent to its owner's hand : Create a 3/3 white and blue Vehicle artifact token with crew 1, flying, and "Whenever this attacks or blocks, you may draw a card. If you do, discard a card."

What if, ignoring Ugin's advice, Nicol saved his sister Merrevia Sal from the hunters? Nicol, Planeswalker Planeswalker — Bolas : You may discard a card. If you do, draw a card. : Put a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control and a loyalty counter on each other planeswalker you control. : ~ deals 7 damage to target player or creature. That player or that creature's controller discards seven cards, then taps seven non-land permanents. They don't untap during their controller's next untap step.
{rough outline of whats different}born from an egg-stone shed with Ugin hatched together and named each other witness their sister Merrevia Sal being hunted down outraged, and ignoring Ugin's efforts, fights off the hunters, saves their sister inspired by the sun, bright and fearless after killing off their attackers, followed the notion that everyone that doesn't care don't matter seen as the Last Fallen sought Merrevia's counsel to feel closer to his larger siblings after being mocked for size and abilities, spent years perfecting techniques met and studied with Arcades learned about humans and how community-oriented they can be banded together with Ugin and Merrevia to meet with hunters calmly formed a tentative alliance with the hunters, each aligning themselves with a different faction after years of living in resigned peace, Ugin and Nicol had a massive fight of ideals, igniting Ugin' spark in a retaliatory burst of passion
Elder dragon war lasted for half-thousand years Nicol won, with Merrevia dying during the conflict during the crescendo of the war, Nicol's and Merrevia's hunters watched over and cared for a third of Dominaria final clash was on Jamuura between Nicol, Nicol's allies and Vaevictus Ugin prevented Nicol's death, and the war ended Nicol sparked from over-whelming love-relief-confusion-unresolved grief towards his brother Ugin

Thank you! Should really get around to finishing that story at some point. Alright, this is gonna be a duzy. I want you to design a planeswalker associated with one of these five wedge-colored factions from the urban horror plane of Dierra: The Clivi'i Grove, a group of artificially created plant-clones, mutants, and druid-scientists seeking to spread their roots throughout Dierra. Mechanically, they're focused around copying spells, especially permanent spells, with their flagship mechanic Doppelganger (Doppelganger [COST] (If you cast this spell for its doppelganger cost, copy it except it isn't legendary. [If targets: You may choose new targets for the copies]) by lordpat) allowing them to 'double-up' creatures by spending extra mana, allowing them to spread and grow more and more. The Sta'ata Society, a group of spirits, former humans and otherwise, that manifest their will through electricity and discarded technology. Mechanically, the Sta'ata are instant/sorcery spell themed, specifically liking to cast spells from the graveyard. Their flagship mechanic, Poultergeist (Poultergeist - [COST], Exile N cards from your graveyad (You may cast this spell from your graveyard for its poultergeist cost. If you do, put it on the battlefield as a Spirit Horror creature after it resolves.)) allows then to reanimate their Revelation spells as Spirits, ready to claim their due. The Crimsona Lodge, a group of demonic cultists and executives who strike crooked deals to gain more power and oppress those beneath them. Mechanically, the Crimsona are all about paying and gaining life, using your own blood as a resource. Their mechanic is an keyword action called sign (You may pay 1 life. If you do, draw a card.)The Probati Pod, a group of extraterrestrials who attempt to defy their instincts and live as normal people, with often tragic results. The Probati tend to go wide, but tend to have tragic ends, and with each death in their ranks heralds the rise of a new generation. Their mechanic, Spawn (Spawn N (Whenever this dies, create N nonlegendary tokens that are [if this is a creature: 1/1] copies of it [if this is a planeswalker: with starting loyalty 1] that don't have this ability.)), turns the death of their creatures into their rebirth as a horde of smaller creatures. The Amalgot Culture, a group of mobile, sentient ooze-diseases and the corrupt doctors that keep them in containment. The Amalgot are a grindy, controlling faction, using sacrifice in order to get value and propagate before going apocalyptic. The Almagot's mechanic is Dissolve (Dissolve (Sacrifice up to two creatures. If you sacrifice creatures this way, draw a card and create a 0/0 green Ooze Germ creature token with X +1/+1 counters on it, where X is the total power of those creatures.)), which allows them to sacrifice their smaller creatures to create larger and larger Ooze Germs, generating value all the while.

Doesn't this mechanic (which wants you to exile cards from your graveyard) kind of clash with the theme (which wants you to cast spells from your graveyard)?
That aside, I originally design a legendary creature with the static ability alone - then I remembered this being the Planeswalker Game Thanksfully, there was a simple way to turn it into a planeswalker instead:
