We don't know who she is, which makes it really easy to make her whoever we want right now XD

Can someone name them from left to right, top to bottom? I know many of them, but not all of them, and I have a feeling I'm not the only one.

Weird. On both PC and mobile for me the art is in 12 rows of 3 'walkers.

I'm imagining some planeswalkers will be powered down to lower rarities. Nissa the Oathkeeper Legendary Planeswalker - Nissa Starting Loyalty: : You may play an additional land this turn. : Until end of turn, whenever you tap a land for mana, it adds an additional mana of that type.

I will be judging this on monday probably, even though it has been open for more than a week. Time issues.
EDIT: Closed for judging.

Okey, this will be quick. Jartis: I don't think this one will be Yanling, but that doesn't matter. This cards is great for control, but being a four drop that instantly goes to seven loyalty might make it a little too great. The rest is very good, the first ability is more annoying than any other thing to other control decks but can be a very powerful tool against decks that play at sorcery speed. Tesagk: Nice take on Ashiok. The ultimate seems a little bit feel-bad for me, you have to use the -2 two or three times at least to make it useful, so I don't think you will ever use it. But, the first and second abilities are much better. The first one, potentially self-milling four cards is great, and the second is a better Snappy effect. I like it, butI would like it much more if you had to pay mana for the spells in the -2 and get them for free in the ult,but that's just my personal take. (By the way, are you aware that if you cast the spell you exile with the -2 it goes to the graveyard so you cannot replay it with the ult?) HvT: I don't personally like planeswalkers with no wat to gin loyalty but I would have preferred much more that the uncommon walkers in WAR were like your card than they were like they actually are. Anyways this is exploration with a mana doubling one shot effect. I don't thnik its too broken, but I also don't know if the effort of protecting it is worth the payoff. Not bad at all. {And the winner is...} Jartis. All three entries were very good but in the end he gets the win. Good job everyone!

Thanks for the win! I was going for a kind of "she still does basic blue things, but got better at time magic" vibe.
For the next challenge, let's fill out our card pools a bit. Design a planeswalker in a color combination that has not been printed yet.
To save everyone the trouble, I went through Scryfall and made a list of color combos that don't exist on official planeswalkers yet:
WRG
WUR
WBR
WBG
UBG
Non-W
Non-U
Non-B
Non-R
Non-G
WUBRG*
*Technically Urza exists, but he's silver-border so if you wanna design five color I'll allow it.
Edit: Missed one

Non-x ?
Like everything but that color, or that color but devoid?

Non-x ? Like everything but that color, or that color but devoid? I suppose he is referring to four color groups.

Yes, non-x was referring to 4-color groups.

gluestick248 Rarity? Apparently this is a thing we have to ask for on planeswalkers, now XD

Jartis it probably would be fine at rare, but I’m operating under non-WAR conditions

Jartis gluestick248 apparently the guideline seems to be if it has an ultimate, it's mythic.

All planeswalkers in MtG: Infinity War of the Spark have a static or triggered ability that are not counted for below. Mythic - 3 abilities Rare - 2 abilities Uncommon - one minus ability Urza, Master of Reality Legendary Planeswalker - Urza : Reveal at the top three cards of your library. Put one into your hand and exile the rest. : Exile target permanent. : Each player chooses three lands they control, then exiles all other permanents. You get an emblem with "At the beginning of your upkeep, choose a permanent card in exile and put it onto the battlefield under your control" and "You may cast instant and sorcery cards in exile, and you may spend mana as though it were mana of any type to cast those spells."

Flo00 I actually meant it, though. Like, do we know if WAR style planeswalkers will stick around? If so, this will be a discussion that should probably happen. Can only mythics make emblems? Can only mythics end games? Obviously Jace's ability can, but let's not pretend Jace has ever played by the rules. Xenozfan2 makes a good point about current set planeswalkers, but obviously the older mythics don't follow those rules. Honestly it's a bit of a design mess right now XD

Jartis In WotS it's definitely 3 abilities vs. 4 abilities. What the future will bring we will see. Counterquestion: By what criteria do you distinguish mythic creatures or sorceries from non-mythic ones? Just by how powerful they are, right? i.e. does it even need a separation? As for the question if we will see more of those type of walkers: If I interpret MaRos's Article right, we definitely will.
