Deceaced Operative "Artor" Legendary Creature--Zombie Soldier When you cast this spell, create a 2/2 black Zombie creature token. Deceased Operative “Artor” enters its owner’s graveyard instead of the battlefield. You may cast Deceased Operative “Artor” from your graveyard. Partner (You can have two commanders if both have partner.)2/2

elchetibo {Spoiler}Small wording tip, putting something on the battlefield doesn't require paying a mana cost, only casting it does. As such you either cast without paying a mana cost or put it on the battlefield without any need for further text in that regard.
That small thing aside, the card fits the prompt pretty well, but balance-wise it's very lackluster. There are a few creatures that would benefit from this, mainly those with additional costs to cast or those you happen to lack the colors to cast (which would be a limited reasonable use even outside of the color that has the most access to land fetching and color fixing, green), but in almost every scenario you're paying the same, more mana or considerably more mana, than you're getting out of it. The baseline is 3 mana for a mana value 3, and each mana value above that adds 2 to that cost, so a mana value 4 would need you to pay 5 mana, value 5 6 mana and value 6 8 mana. Without accounting for that effect this card still has super expensive pseudo-firebreath ability, doubling the mana that would normally cost. This is a card that doesn't stick around and at best recovers it's own cost - until you start paying commander tax.
For what it's worth though, it fit the prompt well. It was mainly an issue of numbers. ZephyrPhantom {Spoiler}While this card does make temporary commanders in some sense: A) It itself isn't one, so it doesn't technically fit the prompt. B) The commanders you play are not only not intended to be temporary in the sense that was described (they stick to the battlefield and you have no reason to go and remove them), but they don't re-exile themselves to prevent them from being returned again if they die. Aside from that, making a comparison with the closest equivalent I could find, Tameshi, Reality Architect, the differences of not needing to return a land as part of the cost, of being able to bring back any creature of the right mana value and at instant speed, plus being able to cast it rather than just returning it make this card a while off-balance. vizionarius {Spoiler}Toughness seems about right and it fits well with the prompt. While it does have the challenge of needing to protect itself, I think 2 mana is too low for such an unconditional returning from the graveyard of a creature, let alone also giving it flying or casting a minimum 4/4 flying creature (if this is your commander). I'd probably double the mana cost. gluestick248 {Spoiler}Power c4 combined with first strike tends to only start appearing at 4 mana, but given the downside of returning this to your hand every turn that's if anything, perhaps a little lower on the toughness than one might've expected. The context that it bounces itself also means the static effect is weaker not only because you need to keep recasting it but because because it's not online most of the time. A ping effect like this that can't remove anything on the board only damaging players really wants to have as many chances to trigger as possible. On the other hand though, it does make for an interesting evasion of sorcery-speed removal for such an effect, meaning you can keep it relatively safe depending on your opponent so you can use it again later. viriss {Spoiler}The companion mechanic was almost if not actually banned depending on the format due to the "extra card" it gives you, despite the extra restrictions those cards imposed on what decks could use them. This draws you an extra card every turn from an invulnerable position every turn in the format that has the least to worry about with milling out. The other effect is also extremely strong. cheating out just about anything for 5 mana (though admittedly 4 of those is colored mana). Surprisingly it wasn't also just outright broken as even though it's repeatable and unconditional it's also 1 mana short of something like Smuggler's Surprise's second mode. melono {Spoiler}I gotta thank vizionarius for pointing out the name as it would have flown over my head otherwise and it does make me appreciate this card a little bit more. Indeed, this is a Wrath of God on legs. Legs that vaporize themselves on entering the battlefield. In commander this effectively gives you a board wipe on command (hah), though one that gets more expensive the more you use it, making the fact it outs itself a rather interesting way to get fulfill the prompt. Being a creature also means it benefits from creature-specific synergies which could give you other means of taking advantage of this card right before or even post board-wipe or letting you send it to the GY and bringing it back as being a low power/toughness creature does make it more accessible for white to bring it back or interact with it in general. The more I look at this card the more I enjoy its nuances, despite seeing how it's pretty much just another card but a creature. It makes you think of how small differences in design can have such a big impact on a card. sdfkjgh {Spoiler}3 mana unconditional 2/2 zombie maker is already a little ahead of the curve as most others at such a mana value have something like discarding a creature as a trigger or exiling something from the graveyard as part of the cost. Said zombie is also uncounterable, a minor detail given it's just a normal token, abut this card is protetced from everything short of graveyard hate. Even then you'll need several instances of exiling it before you can get the commander tax high enough to not see it again. Also since it has partner, you're getting access to black through this card. Aside from probably being silver border/acorn, it's not quite broken but it is a little harder to interact with than would be fair for a card already producing an above-curve effect. Winner {Spoiler}The surprising nuances of the card and creative way it meets the prompt earn melono the win. Runner up is gluestick248

Tyftw! I didn't expect to win exactly because of why you thought you wouldn't give me the win. Nuance does it again.
Next up: Upgrades people, upgrades! Create a commander that boosts other creatures (or one other creature) somehow.

Davila, Boonlender Legendary Creature - Angel Cleric Flying. Whenever a creature with flying enters the battlefield, put a "flying" counter on other creatures you control. This is also true for vigilance, first strike, second strike and lifelink. Creatures you control gain +1/+1 for each counter on them that is not a +1/+1 counter. 5/5
