No worries mate. That's what I figured had happened. "Oh." Merrith put a hand to his head, suddenly starting to sway. "Whatever you did there, it hurt like hell. What happened? What was that?" He seems visibly shaken and confused, and he pulls a strange herb out of his pocket and began to chew it.Memory Herb Artifact When Memory Herb enters the battlefield, scry 1. , , sacrifice Memory Herb: Whenever an Enchantment, Instant, or Sorcery you control would go into your graveyard or exile this turn, you may return it to your hand instead. Zerospace: I feel like this is based on another card or cycle. I really like it lots of in-flavor abilities. I feel like the first one could be more "red " though. I assume that is what you're going for; a red-blue, a blue-white, and a white-red? 9/10 Negotiator Captain: Has a lot of problems. For one, this is a huge color bend, maybe even a break. White is a color that rarely, if ever, interacts with the stack in such a "counter-y" fashion. And even if it did, A) you can't 'exile' abilities and B) it's a 3/3 for 3 with a powerful ability tacked on and C) it only works if you have a spell on the stack, meaning it's only effective if someone is responding to you, unless you feel like 2-for-1ing yourself. It's a wierd mix of way too broken and out of color and really absurdly weak that makes no sense to me. 3/10

"You'll be looking a long time, mister," the Goblin said cheerfully, "I don't think they make goggles that look into Hell." She giggled and fell backwards, sliding off his shoulders and into a trashcan, which slid effortlessly across the ground to meet her. She dove head first into it and disappeared, her giggles echoing out of it.
Otherportal Artifact You may choose not to untap ~ during your untap step. : Exile target creature you control until ~ becomes untapped. Trashmancer Portals are never pleasant to look at, but are certainly useful if you know how to work 'em.
(Gift of Aurasight: Simple enchantment love, and I have a weird enjoyment of enchantment love, so I'm for it! 8/10)

Merrith pauses and turns beet-red. "Mages, I'm sorry. I had no idea." Looking at the young girl, he considers for a moment then shrugs. "If that's the case, would you like to travel with me for a while? I can always use the company, and I could make you Traveling Gear so that you could Worldwalk with me. Unless you can do that already, of course."
Merrith's Alliance 2UR Enchantment (Uncommon) As Merrith's Alliance enters the battlefied, you may destroy target artifact. If you don't, create a Rune token. It has “Sacrifice this permanent: Add 1 mana of any color. Use this mana only to cast instant and sorcery spells.” UR: Up to two target creatures gain Hexproof and Haste until end of turn.
I do like Otherportal. It's a bit of a niche design space, and seems costed about right. 9/10

"Our spell should not have caused pain. You are at fault, somehow. All We did was attempt to detect a planeswalker spark, although it appears you do not have one. Why is that?" How are you here?" Inquisitive Mind Enchantment When Inquisitive Mind enters the battlefield, scry 2. , sacrifice Inqusitive Mind: Look at the top four cards of your library. You may reveal a nonland card with converted mana cost two or less and put it into your hand. If you do, put the rest onto the bottom of of your library in a random order. Memory Herb seems abusable but not without other very powerful cards. 7/10

Both cards I really like. Maybe Inquisitive Mind is a bit cheap, but otherwise I am a fan. Inquisitive: 7/10 Emerging: 8/10
After he recovers Merrith retrieves from his pouch a small oxygen mask and shows it to the two. "I call it the World-Walker. This is only a small part of it; it has navigational devices and such attached. I was testing it when I landed here. It's highly experimental, but a great device."
Runal Duplication 3U Enchantment (Uncommon) Whenever ~ or another artifact or enchantment enters the battlefield, you may have target Rune become a copy of that card, except it is a Artifact and a Rune in addition to its other types. Runes you control have "Sacrifice this permanent: Add one mana of any color. Use this mana to cast only instant and sorcery spells."

"That is intriguing, to say the least. What are your intentions to use it for?" Aeterna asks, amused by the man without a spark. Runal Duplication: This card is very weak on its own without any support and you haven't made any runes this interaction. 4/10 Heretic Hunter

8/10 for both cards. I really like both, each seems useful and flavorful.EWBOP: 8/10 for Mass Production. 3/10 for Heretic Hunter, not because it's not a cool card (it is and I like it a lot) but because my spell was an enchantment. Heretic Hunter does nothing to remove the problem. Merrith shrugged. "Right now it's just for me. I don't want this type of technology to fall into the hands of those who would use it for ill. I've always been curious about World-walking, and have always wanted to see the multiverse. It works by tearing a small hole in the World Barrier, the boundary between a universe and the Betweenlands - your term for it is the Blind Eternities, I think? - and allowing me to step through it. The mask provides oxygen so I can breathe, and my navigational device allows me to travel from location to location. The Betweenlands are a funny thing; my research indicates that space has no meaning there, so travel can be done almost instantaneously, simply by willing yourself to your destination. Then you just open up another hole and step through, or in my case, hurtle." He seems awfully pleased with his work as he puts the mask away again. "I can only assume that the both of you are planeswalkers? Residuplicate Instant Residuplicate costs more to cast unless an artifact you controlled left the battlefield this turn. Copy target spell. You may choose new targets for the copy, and may spend mana as though it were mana of any color to pay additional costs. To be clear on what this is doing: So my understanding is that Heretic Hunter enters the battlefield, targeting a Rune. In response, Mass Production creates a Heretic Hunter and a Runal Duplication, and maybe a Rune token as well. In response to that, I cast Residuplicate, which then creates a copy of MY Runal Duplication Heretic Hunter, and a Rune token. The Heretic Hunter then exiles the artifact that Mass Production theoretically made.

(I have decided that at least for now, Battle Boards isn't something that interests me, so after this rating I will probably stop checking BB.)
Residuplicate: pretty cool. Not a big fan of cost increasing as it reads as a downside, but other than thats its coo. 7/10

Instant Investigate twice, then exile up to X creatures you control, where X is the number of Clues you control. Return those creatures to the battlefield under you control at the beginning of the next end step. The trail of footprints continues for a solid mile... and then it just vanishes.
Residuplicate - reduction on this is kinda backwards and unneeded, particularly because the additional cost line here doesn't actually do anything. 6/10

At one point, the explorer might have passed through a region teeming with life, where a woman in mud-tracked boots and a shopkeeper's dress and apron would have briefly glanced over, before carrying on with her harvest of the land. Then she would have had a double-take, as she made a mental note to track the explorer down at another time.
Now, the same woman approaches him, in another region altogether. "Good day. You've traveled far, for someone without an aether signature suggesting any spark. You also don't appear to be volarian, for you're harboring no aether within you. A tunnel would be out of the question. How have you done this, and what are you looking for?" Merrith nodded. "That sounds like a very good idea. I'd love to help, actually, but my technology is still a bit experimental. Once I get it finished I'd be more than happy to use it to lend a hand. I'm sure I could upscale the effects temporarily in order to allow for such a mass exodus. In theory it would only be a modified, temporary Planar Gate..." He trails off into deep though, pondering how best to design such a device.I love this card! 8/10 could cost 1 more, because investigate twice is quite good, and then flicker is nice as well. You must be very far from home- or is it more like a constitutional through the planes of existence, a walk in the park, before retiring to your fine estate?"Bricklane Napper Creature — Human Rogue Menace Whenever Bricklane Napper deals combat damage to a player, you may sacrifice it. If you do, that player discards a card. 1/1
How embarrassing. I briefly forgot how to count card advantage. It swings two cards, not one, so 1BG would be more appropriate, or even 2BG. Denied Knowledge — I'm all for pushing design boundaries, but unconditional hard counters are either multicolour or have two blue pips. Consider how despite Cancel has room for improvement, such as scry 1 or additional counter targets, Convolute, which only has less weight by one pip, is only a soft counter. Otherwise, point for having comparable payments that are paid in differently scaling costs with respect to game timing, as well as the twofold response. 6/10

(I can take care of all three of these at once lol) Bricklane Napper is a solid 8/10. Not bad, but a touch on the weak side I think. Curious Occurrence is 6/10, since it's really weak unless you cast it for its very expensive miracle cost. It's not terrible, but it doesn't even control what creatures it gets rid of. Lost Architect is busted as HELL. 3/10 Merrith gives the woman a hollow chuckle. "Try an experimental walk before I return to my laboratory. It didn't turn out so well, I'm afraid. Now, do you have smoething to say or are you going to continue to patronize me?" Then he glances at the two approaching. "Sorry, what was that? 'Fraid not, ma'am. I'm still not entirely sure where I am right this moment. The name's Merrith, by the way. Pleasure to meet you." Runic Blast Instant As an additional cost to cast Runic Blast, sacrifice X Rune Tokens. Runic Blast deals X damage to each creature. (Sacrificing one of my MANY tokens at this point to do this.)

Noble Groundskeeper: Pie break. Green does not return creatures to their owner's hand. That is a blue effect, and ONLY a blue effect. 3/10 Merrith chuckled again, a dry, humorless chuckle. My MTG card search was EXTREMELY fucked up when I did it, and I have no idea why. I shall adjust. That being said, it is on a mana rock, and it is only a tertiatry ability of green, so I'm still not convinced that it is appropriate at 2 mana. MAYBE three, but you've gotten at least two effects out of the card and three if your turn comes back around, for two mana. There's a lot of card advantage pooled in there. As far as MY spell goes, as it is targeting Runic Blast, I can now recast it to remove both the mercenary and the groundskeeper. As mentioned before, Guide to Safety doesn't protect it as it only stops damage from creatures.
