"We'll be here for an hour or two to complete whatever inoculations we can do with the aether we could carry, then we'll be headed back to the outpost. I'm not exactly supposed to be farther than two hours travel outside of the outpost. If you'd like to see what we do at that outpost, we can manage that. ... Leira's not there right now, she'll be gone for a day or two. Haia's not there right now, but she'll be back before tonight. Everyone else should be around."Tentative Invitation is neat for a political style format. It'd fit really well into the one I designed for EPIC. 10/10 Mirror Configuration Instant Copy target spell that targets you or a permanent you control. You may choose new targets for the copy. Aethercast -- If was spent to cast Mirror Configuration, you may also choose new targets for that spell. "That works quite well. I must later be introduced to these absent fellows of the Project, but for now let us continue here. I am very pleased to have met you and your organization, and hope we may work together in the future."Aside some brief interruptions, the trio continue on to inoculate those they can, Allatu included once proof of safety is provided. A short trip to the outpost and a few introductions later, the Brykiar politely requests to establish a psychic link with any members of EPIC who would permit her such, and continues on her way in exploring the Arena.
Wonderful response, fun card in general. Aethercast looks quite cool and I like its use here. 10/10

"That's because the food you ate there wasn't real. Nothing in the city is real." The man grimaces apologetically. "Wish I could have brought proof, but… figured I should warn you anyway. One anthropologist to another: you can't trust your research on Sanaerti, because there is no Sanaerti." (Guest System)
Some days after, Leira sees a hazy cityscape on the horizon. If she asks anyone else, they don't seem to be able to see it. The City That Wasn't There
Legendary Enchantment Mirage (You may cast this spell as though it had flash for its mirage cost. If you do, sacrifice it at the beginning of the next cleanup step.)Whenever a permanent you control leaves the battlefield, return target permanent you don't control to its owner's hand. Identifying that a city no one else could see was likely a powerful illusion, Leira grabs an aether canister, takes an adaptor pistol from storage, and heads out to see if this city has any connection to the false Sanaerti.Huh, I'm not entirely sure how to evaluate this. I think I like it, though in combination with something like Brago probably just ends the game as one-sided upheaval. Probably best as one or both words being 'nonland'. 7/10 Into The Unknown Instant Until end of turn, triggered abilities don't trigger and activated abilities can't be activated. Draw a card.

The moment she notices the trail of sand, Leira reaches into her aether and constructs one of her dragonflies. Wandering the Desert is probably correctly costed. Interesting that it's a blink effect at 1W, but that also seems good. 9/10

Ever since Haia moved to Entela, she tried her best to fit in. She already avoided talking to people about things other than work, as any other conversation would give her away. She paid attention to adopt local customs as quickly as she could. Every time, she could see every single thing she wasn't doing quite right, every time she didn't quite fit in. Entela had such an importance on education and research, with much less time spent on simple art and music. She learned magic at home, but somehow the magic that was used in Entela was much more complex, with many more people working on understanding what they do than she had ever seen before. She silently cursed herself every time she fell back to using one of her spells from home, hoping that one day she could fit in with the magic in Entela.
Today, there was none of that as her footsteps crunched against the newly white ground. Her workspaces -- every one of them -- was coated in a Litaran weather resistance spell. While it was usually meant to fend off rain from incomplete projects and paperwork, it also protected everything from the surprise weight of a ten centimeter high slab of snow being added to it. This let the outpost's main building stay standing and provided an amusing sight at Haia's drafting table, where the snow hovered slightly above the stack of papers that sat there. Haia could guarantee that Entelan magic didn't do that, as complex and mathematical as they made it, and for just once, she let herself forget that she wanted to avoid her Litaran spells.
"Woah," came Ani's voice from the entrance of the outpost. Why was he awake? Haia usually had at least two hours between dawn and the time anyone else woke up, where she could work in quiet. His voice was muted by the white ground, but Haia could still hear him, so she turned to watch him. He was wearing a t-shirt, but he had been doing that as the days got colder anyways. The additional height of the snow didn't seem to stop him from trying to walk on it, and his first step instantly sunk into the ground. His second wasn't any different. "What's this?"
"Snow," Haia returned quietly. She wasn't entirely sure if he would hear her, but he somehow managed it, and continued his sunken footsteps as he walked to Haia's table.
Ani looked up at Haia. "How are you standing on it?"
"... Ma...gic...?" Haia returned. She hadn't put much thought into it. It was the same instinct that allowed her to walk over holes on construction sites and to reach objects that were slightly out of reach. "It happens in... Litara, sometimes."
"This happens?" Ani crouched down and picked up a clump of snow, then promptly dropped it. "That's cold, what. Why is it that cold?"
Haia giggled. "This happens in mountains a lot. ... you've really never seen snow?"
"Absolutely not," Ani replied. Ani poked at the snow again, slowly forming it into a mound. "It's never gotten this cold before. This is common in Litara?"
Haia shook her head. "N-no, it just happens sometimes. It's mostly Shaidosta, but we get their wind sometimes, and, well..."
"So this happens in Shaidosta most of the time."
Haia nodded repeatedly. "Y-yeah, Mos... mostly Shaidosta. It's always snowy there. ... Uh, Ani, why're you... awake?"
"Hm? Oh, I got up to check something. Couldn't figure it out, so I was going to head back to bed -- you know, can't do work right now anyways -- but I saw everything was white outside and I was super confused."
"Are the others also awake?"
"Not that I know of." Ani poked his transceiver a bit, though Haia wasn't sure why. Maybe he was sending a message to Entela, or recording observations about the snow. Maybe he just wanted to see if there was any new -- "Oh, uh... I might need to hurry that up though."
Never mind. "Hm?"
"Well, so, the thing I was checking was a weird sound I heard. Sounded like something broke. Which is super weird, since we don't really, uh... break things."
"Okay...?"
"Figured it out! Com relay's down." Ani showed his transceiver to Haia. "Can't get off-plane."
Haia stared at the transceiver. "Huh... That's bad, right...?"
"... Oh yeah, I guess you don't need it, do you? Yeah, I kinda need that, it's where my instructions are. I'll need to get Seiva and Varei and maybe one of them can do something about it... Anyways, what're you up to?"
"O-oh, um... I'm still working on Miss Lettie's house. I, uh, ran into an issue with the placement of a few supports and... now I need to consider that it snows sometimes."
"You're getting close though, yeah?" Ani tried to look over at the papers on Haia's desk, but the snow didn't leave any room for that.
"Mm-hm, I should be done in a couple of days."
"Awesome, I bet she'll be really happy with it."
"I don't know about... really happy. Hopefully... satisfied. And then I need to contact her again, and... Hope nothing else is wrong."
"You should stick around until I get Seiva so we know you can still get back, okay?"
"Um.... okay, I guess..." Ani ran back to the outpost the best he could, almost falling multiple times but somehow catching himself each time. Haia took a deep breath. And there would be more to come as she would have to explain to everyone else what 'snow' is. She took the time of silence to push the snow off the force field and started to stare at her paper to make sure that her work last night made sense.
Seiva was the next person to step outside -- as expected -- and Haia wasn't sure if it was good or bad that she seemed to have come outside before going to deal with the relay. She also sunk into the ground when she stepped on it.
"Yep," Seiva agreed. "It's snow. That might be a problem."
"You've seen this stuff before?" Ani asked, coming back to the outside.
"Yeah, when I was a lot younger, Arina taught me how to do this, and I've definitely seen at least two duelists do it too. It doesn't really come up much otherwise." Seiva waved to Haia. "You doing okay?"
Haia didn't reply with words, but vigorously nodded her head.
"Cool, you're safe to go to work. I can handle this."
"Uh, th-thank you...!" Haia picked up her notes from her table and started off towards the construction site.
~~~
"Yep," Seiva noted. "That got too cold and fractured."
"That can happen?" Varei's surprised response made Seiva feel better about her own lack of knowledge on the subject.
"Apparently. I haven't really operated with conduits in the cold before, but I can't think about why the cold would do this. And not all of them broke either, just this one."
"I can assure you that isn't how it's supposed to work. I may have to do some more reading once we get this back online. This must have happened before."
"I don't know of anywhere but Shaidosta that gets this cold, and, well... We wouldn't really have information about Shaidosta, would we?"
"Fair... Well, the upside is that we can fix it, it'll just take a bit of time to warm up so we know it won't happen again."
"Yep. Well, get on it, I guess. I need to make sure nothing else breaks."
"Done."
~~~
While she expected to have to explain the snow to her construction team, they seemed to already have some knowledge about working in snow. As much snow as possible was relocated to the sides of the clearing, rivalling the smaller bushes that lived there. And, thankfully, the supports looked like they would actually work, now that they were in place. This only left the snow problem. At least she could send a reasonable report to Miss Lettie while she looked for a solution. Maybe something using sunlight...

Realize Sorcery Put a +1/+1 counter on target creature. Whenever it deals combat damage to a player this turn, destroy up to one target artifact or enchantment. As Leira goes down the alley, the architecture seems to warp and deviate from her expectations. The dragonfly easily passes through the wall not much taller than Leira at the end of the alley, but Leira is unable to do the same. Perched on top of the wall is a purple coyote. It waves its tail, seeming to beckon Leira to continue, then bounds off the other side of the wall. The dragonfly catches a glimpse of purple fur as it continues in its infinite desert. Elusive Path Enchantment Mirage (You may cast this spell as though it had flash for its mirage cost. If you do, sacrifice it at the beginning of the next cleanup step.)When Elusive Path enters the battlefield and at the beginning of your upkeep, you may put a land card from your hand onto the battlefield as long as Elusive Path is on the battlefield. Leira is undeterred. Getting herself above the wall is annoying -- possible, but it means she needs to use aether to do it -- but it won't stop her from investigating this... whatever it is. It might be a threat. It's definitely worth reporting. Leira scales the wall with magic assisting her body's natural strength, and once at the top, withdraws her adaptor pistol and ensures that it's loaded with Force magic before she hops down to the ground again.Elusive Path is interesting, probably mostly for landfall decks. It might serve as a mana-neutral spell for some weird storm decks? 8/10 Urban Pursuit Instant Whenever a land enters the battlefield this turn, return target nonland permanent to its owner's hand.

Leira is surprised, momentarily, but doesn't let her focus slip. Her dragonfly continues floating around, though it stays nearer to Leira than the coyote so as to not seem actively hostile. "That's not really a question with an easy or satisfying answer. I take risks because I'm the only one of my group capable of taking them. I learn and discover because that's what I do. I search for information that I think is interesting or important -- possibly, in this case, a threat, or a potential ally, one capable of doing something that I've only known one being in history to be able to do. I seek to learn so that there is more to learn."
Learn Everything is a moderately effective tutor every turn. I wonder if it could have a place outside of commander, but that seems like the best place for it as is to me. 8/10

On one day after winter has struck, Lettie is waiting for Seiva Zeni near the entrance of the outpost. She is in a considerably heavier dress than usual, though thanks to her planeswalking, she has not had to trudge through any snow. She has rehearsed enough to be well-prepared to speak once the director approaches her. "My claims have been settled in full. Had I known your architect would go to such lengths, I would have refused this help entirely, if only from a place of modesty. You have been too kind to me, all of you." She takes a breath to brace herself for what she wishes to say next. "It would seem that from the beginning, I have misjudged you. I have been harsh with you in the past. That was unjust, undeserved." There is nothing for it now but to wait for a reply. She does not trust her intuition to judge the expressions she might have seen to this point.

Given Haia's other work, you would then lack heating, so I can only presume the project will not be here for much longer." She was watching for a reaction then, to confirm her guess. She shortly continues, "Perhaps it is for the best. An Arena is not a place ripe for cooperation. Please give my best regards to Ani; I don't think I will have time to see him off. He's a bright young man, and I'll miss working with him." Lettie wants to implore Seiva to keep Ani on the straight and narrow, to not compel him to create something he will regret, but she can find no way to say such a thing that is not strange, so after a pause, she only concludes, "For what time we each have, this is likely goodbye. Best of luck to you and the project." She waits just a moment for Seiva, before walking outside and vanishing in those fumes. Mismatched Role — I will take this as a variant on Ravenform, though that doesn't mean necessarily agree with it. It's good flavor though. 8/10

8/10 "That's exactly right," Seiva confirms. "For the reasons you identified, Master Sara wants me to focus our efforts on Virilin and Leritha, where hopefully we're not going to be facing threats of explosives and artificial war machines."
"It does seem to be goodbye. If you need repairs on aetherics, you know where we are, so just get a message to me. We can get a technist out here to fix it. That tunnel..." Seiva doesn't move her hand much, but points in the general direction of the tunnel, "Is still going to be active. Thank you for cooperating, and... for helping me learn how to work beyond my own plane."
Seiva waves as Lettie departs.

"Indeed, knowledge is crafty like that, answer one question, and two more rise to the occasion."
"And you say you learn... for protection, is it? Allies and threats and bearing the burdens others cannot. Until you seek what cannot be found."
Another Leira walks by between Leira and the coyote. She stops in her tracks, looking up at a city that should be there, but isn't. Another Leira runs past, frantically scanning the area, following a lead that she knew would be another ghost. A third goes by, slower, weaker, struggling.
"I need to know why your internal thought energy is at point seven," came a voice, followed by an image of Seiva.
"I need to keep searching. I can't just walk away," the other Leiras all answer.
The figures all dissipated. The coyote stood up, and behind it the city of Sanaerti formed. A new Leira moved towards it, finally freed her from her search.
"One must remember they will never find all the answers. Most of us are too stubborn."
The coyote bounded off again into the city. As it crosses the limits, it, the city, and the desert all vanish. EPIC's outpost is just barely visible on the horizon.
If Leira returns to where she had found Sanaerti, it is now just an expanse of sand. Life's Purpose - kinda build-a-night's-whisper. i think there's a bit too much drawback to this for it to do much but being repeatable might give it some use. 8/10

Rel was warned about the snow. This region has a well-documented winter, information obtained by diviners and dimensional probes. It also had an unfortunately warm summer, something that Rel wasn't at all excited about if he was supposed to be stationed here for that long. He was also expecting there to be some ruins here, and that was... almost true. He wasn't expecting an entirely intact building, and he certainly wasn't expecting to see some kind of shoddily-constructed aether tunnel that was jury-rigged using subpar aether conduits. He also wasn't expecting there to be people here, putting things in aetherglass boxes and generally moving them to the direction of the tunnel. One of them, a cute blonde in a white dress and glasses, notices him and initially says nothing. Another notices shortly after, a brunette in a black and gold outfit resembling stories of old Technocracy uniforms. All the people at this outpost were wearing transceivers, but they looked like they were hand-made. Just where were they from that the Technocracy hadn't give them real technology yet? Rel was under the impression that they threw out their restrictions on the matter eons ago.
"Hi, what're you doing here?" The voice connects to Rel mentally first, though he can see that the brunette was also speaking when she said that.
"My apologies, I wasn't expecting there to be people here. I was told this place was long abandoned." He assumed that his voice would get to her.
"Well..." She was now close enough for Rel to hear her the normal way, and she definitely stopped transmitting her speech mentally. "We are on the way out. It's stopped being useful for most of us to stick around here, so as long as you leave our tunnel alone, there's not really a problem with you taking the place over. It's not going to have power, but it'll probably be better than whatever camp you might be setting up."
"Oh, well, that's very generous of you. Think I'll do just that. Name's Rel."
"Seiva," the woman replies. Why was that name familiar? That was a name he knew, but-- Rel didn't have much time to put more thought to it before she continued with a smile. "You've got an adaptor pistol."
"Sure do," Rel confirmed, drawing the pistol with a fancy flick. He offered the handle to Seiva, who took it without a second thought and started looking over it. "Got it from an antique shop on Leritha. Triumvirate-era adaptor pistol, looks really fancy."
"Yeeep," Seiva agreed. She aimed down what Rel would usually call an ironsight into some direction away from the outpost, and Rel could feel something that he thought was magic from her. "Huh, someone knew what they were doing. There's a resonance coil in here."
"Really? Damn! That guy told me it was unmodded. You're sure?"
"Yeah, unfortunately it's... not that." That merchant would be hearing some very choice words from Rel when he wasn't fulfilling a mission. "Not really a big deal, just means a more efficient draw of elemental energy. ... speaking of which, why aren't you carrying energy for this thing?"
"I mean..." Rel stared at Seiva. How did she know that? "Because they don't make the rounds for it anymore? I've tried but there's nothing."
Seiva returned Rel's stare with a raised eyebrow. "That doesn't sound right. Hold on..." Seiva tapped her transceiver and spoke into it. "Hey, Haia, could you please bring me a one-two thought cell? They should be... visible from the tunnel. Thanks." That was another familiar name. Rel knew that one for sure this time, though. That was the name of a famous architect. Seiva's name still escaped him...
Rel looked over the woman. She couldn't have been very old, but she definitely seemed to know something about what she was doing. She wasn't carrying a weapon at all in such a high-danger area, though, so maybe that was overstated. "No weapon?" he asked.
Seiva shook her head and spun her hand, producing a crystal of ice. "Just magic. I noticed you're also not carrying one."
"Yeah, I was hoping to obtain one while I was here. As if the Empire would give any of the good stuff to a scout. They expected me to handle my mission unarmed."
"Well, I'm not really going to do you any favors there. One-two cells don't do a whole lot without some very special modifications and neither does Thought." Seiva continued looking around at the gun. "Trigger looks like it was modified to be more sensitive too. Huh."
The cute blonde girl from before arrived carrying a small glass ball filled with golden magic. So this was 'Haia'? "Well aren't you adorable," Rel directed to Haia. She retracted, her face lighting up with a blush and smile, but she didn't run away.
"Good job," Seiva said quietly, probably also directed at Haia. She took the single orb, quickly stuck it into the bottom of the pistol, pointed into open space, and fired. A faint beam of golden energy went off into the atmosphere, never to be seen again. "That's better. These things are mass produced, so I don't really know how you had a problem finding them."
"Where are you guys from?" Rel questioned. "They're not mass produced on any plane I know of."
Seiva looked up at him with an inquisitory gaze. "You... have a transceiver?"
"Yeah...?"
"We're from Entela... on Volaria... Aren't you? Where'd you get that if not?"
... What. "Sorry, run that by me again? I don't think I heard that right..." How? What the hell?
"Entela, Volaria. It's the place that those are made."
"I, uh... That doesn't, uh..."
And Seiva put her face into one of her hands. "Ugh... What year is it?" This was the tone of someone that's had to ask this question before.
"254 EY," Rel returned immediately.
"Uh... okay, never mind. How long's it been since the elemental war?"
"Oh, uh... That's the Triumvirate war isn't it? I don't know, four hundred years maybe?"
"Spirits, okay, uh... Right, okay. You're from... a little bit in the future."
"Really? What year do you think it is?" Rel checked his own transceiver to confirm he wasn't losing it, and he definitely wasn't.
"Uh, this year is 381 VY."
"Oh, okay, yeah, okay, that's a bit of time ago. ... I guess I was warned about that. What are you guys doing here?" Is that why their tech looked like garbage? Suddenly Rel's mission changed to 'avoid giving away too much'.
"This is the first outpost of the Eternity Project for Interplanar Cooperation." The phrase 'Eternity Project for Interplanar Cooperation' stood out strongly, and very suddenly, a lot of things started to make sense at the same time. "We were doing an investigation on Volarians in non-aetheric environments and communication with extraplanar civilizations, but it's stopped being worth it for us to be here aside from Leira." That was yet a third name that Rel recognized.
"I'm sorry, who did you say you were?"
Seiva just chuckled. "My name is Seiva Zeni, I'm the Head Advisor of the Eternity Project."
That Seiva. "That Seiva? The progenitor of the aether tunnel system? The one that discovered the aether resonance frequency?" That was the person whose technology he was demeaning? No wonder it all looked like it was hand made. It was. This random tunnel, one just in the middle of nowhere, this was the first interplanar aether tunnel in the multiverse. And this person, the one standing in front of her, was the one that started it all.
Rel wasn't certain that he could be any more embarrassed without saying things out loud.
"Progenitor..." Seiva said, thinking through the word as she said it. "That's a new word, but... yeah, I guess that makes sense."
"'I guess'," Rel repeated. He turned his attention to Haia. "And the adorable one, I bet you're the renowned architect Haia Kenei, right?"
"I-I-I, uh..." Haia struggled to find footing for a sentence. "I-I'm not renowned, or anything..."
"But that's your name?" Rel confirmed.
"Y-yes, I... y-yeah..." It really was her. It really was them. These people whose names carried meaning after such a long time.
"Quick question about you, being so far ahead of us," Seiva took over. "That means you know what's happening to Volaria right now."
Haia looked over at Seiva. Seiva looked back and held up a finger.
Rel thought. "You mean the collapse of--"
"Yes, that thing," Seiva agreed. She sighed. "... It's too late for Haia, I'll have to explain to her, but don't tell anyone else about that, cool? You can consider that a payment for access to the outpost."
"Right, got it, cool." This was a pre-distribution Entela, before they had set up on other planes, before they had warned everyone. Rel was at least partially afraid of what might break if he told anyone about it ahead of schedule. He also didn't want to seem rude to the very kind people offering him a place to stay. "Wow."
"So," Seiva started, looking around. "We should be out of the way in the next 24 hours. Leira still isn't done investigating here, for reasons known only to her and Master Sara, and Haia might also have to come through to work on a few things. Just leave the tunnel alone and we won't have any problems."
"Right, got it." Rel smiled at Haia. "And I'll be mighty excited to get to talk to you again." The sentence only caused the adorable architect to become more adorable when she tried to hide her embarrassment. "I'll leave you to it. I need to familiarize myself with the surroundings, you know how it is."
EPIC departs.

On a particularly snowy day on the Arena, a little girl in a uniform a few sizes too big heads out to the old EPIC outpost. She very lightly runs a broom over parts of the machinery left behind, while occasionally tapping on her transceiver. Behind her floats a spear with a gleaming head, nearly twice as far from the ground as her own head with the extra foot of levitation. She doesn't seem to have noticed the new occupant.

As they described, the entire core had been disassembled and removed, as had the laboratories used by Kaira and Ani. There were a few small canisters of aether still floating around, one of which had a cap with a valve on it. No tenebrite had been left around, and neither had any food. A few brown bottes of 'Aria Brewing Co. Beer' were found in random places, though they were always standing and against a wall.In one room, beds still remained, and while they seemed to have been stripped of any covers or blankets, a bedroll now occupied one of them. Another canister was in this room, hooked up to a small device by another one of the valve caps, giving the room a pleasant warmth not available to the rest of the outpost. No beer bottles were placed here, but a small metal box with a glass-looking door sat against a wall, inside of which was a small carton of milk, a brick of cheese, and some ham in another slightly-foggier glass container. A bread holder is next to it, but it's closed, so the contents could be anything.On the far side of this room, Rel is moving some of the beds around for no discernable purpose. They seem heavier than might be expected for beds with such thin frames. He briefly waves, says "Hey," and returns to moving the beds around.Wormwood's Scheming looks like a good card. A complete lack of lab equipment is somewhat troublesome; nothing yet depends on it, but nothing could come to depend on it either. Still, the fact that this is currently the residence of a citizen from a "technocracy" is useful information. The question now would be how technically inclined the citizen is. The best abuse comes from using other cards with it, unlike something like Vampiric that you can just trust will work. I like it a lot. 10/10 Repurposed Scrap Artifact Whenever an artifact you control is put into your graveyard from the battlefield, put a scrap counter on Repurposed Scrap. Remove two scrap counters from Repurposed Scrap: Exile the top card of your library. You may play it this turn. A complete lack of lab equipment is somewhat troublesome; nothing yet depends on it, but nothing could come to depend on it either. Still, the fact that this is currently the residence of a citizen from a "technocracy" is useful information. The question now would be how technically inclined the citizen is. Lettie gives a slight nod, seeing as she can not curtsy in a dress as heavy as hers. She watches him for a few moments, before speaking what she words she had been measuring. "Pardon the intrusion. I was not aware there was anyone living here, now. I expect that this place is understood officially as vacant, though that office is now removed from here. Have you found this place hospitable, winter and all? Do you find the machinery agreeable?" Litmus Strawman Artifact Creature — Scarecrow When Litmus Strawman enters the battlefield, create a Vial token. (It's an artifact with “, Sacrifice this and another permanent: Draw a card. Activate this ability only during your turn.”)Persist 3/2
Repurposed Scrap — This seems to expect to get up to two only twice most of the time, if I'm guessing by cost correctly, which seems fair enough. A bit dead on its own, though it's nice enough that it works with artifact creatures. 9/10
"Yeah, that's about what I was expecting when I got here, too. Turned out the Eternity Project was on the way out, so they gave me permission to camp out here as long as I don't touch their tunnel. I don't think it'd get anywhere I cared about anyways. Place is good, aethersteel gets a bit cold without a heating system..." Rel motions to the warmth device, "But I came ready for snow, so you know. Their relay's still up -- guess because Leira's still supposed to be coming through here sometimes -- but my transceiver doesn't even know it exists, so I'm a bit outta luck there."Litmus Strawman being just 6 mana draw two is interesting. I wonder how good this card is. Kind want to see it do a thing. 9/10 Dairan Transceiver Artifact - Equipment Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, put a +1/+1 counter on equipped creature. : Attach Dairan Transceiver to target creature. Equip

Kind want to see it do a thing. 9/10 Dairan Transceiver Artifact - Equipment Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, put a +1/+1 counter on equipped creature. : Attach Dairan Transceiver to target creature. Equip You've decided you're out of luck yet haven't tried anything, so you're most likely missing that particular kind of expertise. Lettie notes that despite acting as a crown agent, he had to get permission from EPIC to use their assets. She considers it strong evidence he serves a different authority then, especially coupled with comments on the tunnel's destinations. She wonders if the mismatch is also the cause of difficulty in using the relay. "The Project tends to be generous like that, yes. Well, your residence here settles the matter of this building's remains. Good day." There is no longer anything here for Lettie, and what she has learned is of little use at the moment—perhaps it would be best if it were to remain so, but it is not her decision. She walks elsewhere in the outpost before planeswalking back to a shop. Dairan Transceiver — I'll take this as a way to offset the Persist counter, though this seems a bit stronger than similar noncreature triggers. The aethercast equip also doesn't seem as useful, considering the equipment's actual ability; in most cases, you won't be using it, I think. I would like to see the aethercast equip somewhere more applicable though. 7/10

"... Oh, is that why you're small?" Rel takes a moment to stare at the relay. "Do you know about the Technocracy? Are you a part of the Church of Solari? Might be why you can connect to that thing and I can't."I like Befuddle a lot as a stifle. It doesn't work against fetches, which is good, but it has relevance against plenty of other things. 10/10 Ceaseless Chronometer Artifact Ward At the beginning of your upkeep, remove all charge counters from Ceaseless Chronometer. If no charge counters were removed this way, put a charge counter on Ceaseless Chronometer. Otherwise, create a 1/1 red Elemental creature token. Karina tries to shrink away at Rel's stare.
"I don't think I know a Technocracy, no. Uhh, we talked to Solari once, but I'm not like, the cleric guy or anything." Divine Static Artifact Whenever an artifact or creature enters the battlefield under your control, you may pay . If you do, draw a card. Otherwise, scry 1. "Save.... your.... save.... soul.... save.... this weekend only!" Ceaseless Chronometer not sure on "chronometer" but sure 9/10
"Bet you come from the same time as the Eternity Project, huh? That might explain it." Rel knocks a part of the Relay that's entirely sturdy. "'ccording to everything I've grown up with, this hunk of junk stopped being used ages ago, which'd be why I can't hook up to it."A little bit concerned about just how much scry this is. 7/10 Solaran Proselytizer
Creature - Human Cleric Whenever you draw a card, you gain 1 life. 1/1
