( artist: Denys Tsiperko) Discoveries of Akieva is a set about Achievements, and the Multiplanar Festival of Arts. The plane is a post scarcity society where everything revolves around the yearly competition where people demonstrate martial, magic, and artistic projects. Of course, there's backstabbing, otherworldly terrors, and all nighters, but it is generally just a good time. DOA's limited is a hybrid of a traditional limited and a cube. There are no rarities, and the average power level of the cards is fairly high. Decks run hot with synergy, and combo is a draftable archetype. But make sure to respect RW aggro and UB Control, who still have the tools to be competitive. Akieva's set file can be found here: drive.google.com/open?id=1SJGJSLVLekICmeryXTLJ6qvvGas83kO7Happy to answer any questions about the process/archetypes/lore/mechanics. Thanks for everyone who helped me along the way!

Hey, is the art for Self Replication what you intended? (Also, should the name be hyphenated?) I ask because I looked it up and it's some sort of moth wizard, which doesn't seem to fit the flavor of the card or the set.

Yes they say it's a moth but to me it clearly looks like a Vedalken or artifact creature, it even has a Tezzeret-shaped arm, no ? EDIT: Btw she's more cute than this cyborg wizard who pretends to be a moth.

Yeah, I was using the art as an artifact creature, some sort of cyborg fellow. It reminded me vaguely of Omnics from Overwatch. Ultimately, as part of this hobby, we use art we didn't make, and reinterpret it how we choose to. That's gonna have some awkward moments with things like this.
