I'm working on a custom cube. 360 cards total, which includes 10 two color guilds each with 20 cards (2 gold) meant to 'anchor' their archetype. Flavour is important but I also want the guilds/archetypes to be equally competitive and to play well mechanically. Im looking mostly for feedback on those two things but anything you guys can comment or suggest would be greatly appreciated.
BW I'll start with the BW guild. My idea is for BW to have a religious theme/flavour. They worship and are aligned to a BW god named Sistrene (name isn't decided) and their signature mechanic is Sacrament (At the beginning of each end step, if a permanent you controlled left the battlefield this turn, gain 1 life.) My hope is for BW to play out as a life matters archetype with cards that trigger from lifegain, and relying on the cards with Sacrament to help enable them.
I don't know how to embed images ... sorry. I'll also update this as I complete more cards for the guild. When i have my 20 for BW i'll start on another pairing, i kind of want to get them done 1 at a time, but if anybody has a better way they'd like to suggest I'm super down to try it out. I'd also greatly appreciate any formatting tips you could give me for keeping this post neat and orderly.
