Former engineer in a vehicle racing team back on Kaladesh, Januti has decided to learn magic from other planes after a spark ignition in a pitlane accident. He is currently travelling from plane to plane, in search of new options he can use with his ability to create vehicles out of almost anything. Race forced to stop on lap 45 after tragical pitlane explosion of brake failure on a car. Known deaths: Londu Naim. Missing: Januti Ricasi."...ughhh... where's the car? I was supposed to fix it-" "WHERE AM I?!!"6/10/19: Januti realised that He's not on Kaladesh anymore, and tried to "travel" back to the team headquaters. He succeeded. People thought this was a miracle, but later realised for a plaace with such population this was quite common, recorded in the history books. Most people just didn't come back at all. 6/11/19: Januti sorted out every lose bit he needs, and start his way to discover the unkown. He went back to where he was after the accident, leaving a blue and orange spark behind. 6/12/19: On his way discovering, he found a giant arena, which sounds very populated. He tried to enter from the main gates but was quickly blocked by the guard. He had to find another way in. "Sorry Sir. Where's your license to enter?" "I don't have one, I'm just visiting." "This is a restricted area."Luckily, this was no issue. He build himself a pair of makeshift wings with some shards around the place and lifted off into the arena. Encounter with cajunMakeshift wings are makeshift wings, they soon break after entering the arena. They served their purpose. Januti met a blonde woman who greeted him with the way to find mechanical parts and soon left. He noticed that he's missing a shard he used for his wings, but didn't care. He took almost nothing but Aether from Kaladesh. "Costed me nothing anyway."

While flitting about the Arena, the engineer finds his wings slowly lock up. How will he fare when they stop completely?

Looking at his wings locking up and starting to fall, he had a few options thanks to his technology experience. "Hope that trick with Aether still works here." Hard Braking Instant Target nonland permanent loses all abilities, gets -1/-1 and gains hexproof until end of turn. Edit: Oh BTW forgot to rate your card. Not a player on schemes when they are out but I'd say it's a late game win-con. 8/10. Edit 2: Added hexproof for a better respond, but you can rate it without hexproof if you want to go harsh.

Looking at his wings locking up and starting to fall, he had a few options thanks to his technology experience. "Hope that trick with Aether still works here." He rubbed some Aether in between the joints of his wings, and gains control of it to the right direction. He pulls the brakes almost immediately after that, and he landed on the ground safely. Seconds later, he looked back: his wings had broke into pieces due to the overtighting lock-up. "Oh dear!" comes a not entirely sympathetic voice. The air seems to grow a bit colder as a blonde woman approaches. "What happened? Are you okay? Your poor wings..."Prove Your WorthOngoing SchemeWhenever a creature an opponent controls dies, you may return a creature card from your graveyard to your hand. Whenever a creature you control dies, abandon this scheme.
(second half from PMs) Hard Braking - so this has got the issue of being a color break (blue doesn't get -0/-X), and pulls in two different directions (since using this on an opp's creature for the Humble and the -1 means you can't target it, rather than the opp) 6/10and heads up that you can alert people that you've answered via @username or quoting, like this

Hatebear effect is pretty narrow but works for here. 9/10btw, hybrid is free, no skill point needed for it. As for practicing schemes, have you seen my character sheet yet

Color Commentary - Love the idea! Would be even better if there's an additional effect for another color and so on. 9/10 "Hi Miss, I'm Mr. Ricasi. I sure do have time for an interview. But don't ask too much of what is happening around here - I can't even get my head around what has happened for the last few days!" Januti answered it comfortably. After all, Every engineer in the pit lane get's an interview every once so often. He immediately chucked the book out the window. Flat Tire Instant Exile target Aura enchantment. In response to being chucked out of the window and upon seeing his disenchantment magic, the book attempts to stab Januti with a very, very real knife. Looks like that might give more than just a paper cut. Either way, the book is hanging on the ledge of the window in what would be a comical scene if no one was a few inches away from being stabbed. Angular Assault Enchantment When CARDNAME enters the battlefield, it deals 3 damage to target creature. Whenever you cast a spell, if it's the third spell you've cast this turn, sacrifice CARDNAME. If you do, it deals 3 damage to target player or planeswalker. Look at the problem from a different angle. Then stab it.Flat Tire: Basically a really bad version of Erase. Could probably cantrip or something? 6/10.

Angular Assault - Oh Jeebus. you sure that this double lightning strike would be good if it exists and finds its way into RDW? 7/10 due to too low mana cost. "Oh hey there you stupid book, saw that knife Nadejda gave you from a mile away. Good luck holding on to the ledge that's Aether reinforced!"

"Hi, I'm Leira Hoserai of Entela's Eternity Project for Interplanar Cooperation. I'm interested in asking about where you came from and why you're here, if you don't mind." Taste of Aether - Very balanced spell. would probably give a bit of wiggling room and go for and 2 cards, 2 life; 3 cards, 1 life instead. 9/10. "Sure! I'm Mr. Ricasi, quite new here, so maybe can't help much. This was the first and only place that I can 'planeswalk' so far, so I'm just here for a new life after a few accidents back on Kaladesh. What's the 'Eternity' thingy you were talking about?" Guess those interview skills need to be lest rusty. He thought. "Well, thankfully I don't need to know more about here, but I'm more interested in Kaladesh and what you did there." I straighten myself and flip my notebook to a new page, writing Mister Ricasi, Kaladesh across the top of it. "The Eternity Project is a project for us to learn the cultures and travel to other worlds to hopefully one day have a network of planes able to help each other if they get in trouble. We're not planeswalkers ourselves, though, so in preparation for that I'm talking to planeswalkers about their homes."
"I think Seiva told me that Kaladesh has aether in its atmosphere too, right?"So, Media Training, this is kinda... absurdly broken. And also out of color. For 1W, draw 7 if you were already at ten life is, you know, nuts, and white can't draw cards except with very specific deckbuilding. This is definitely more of a black card and needs to cost a massive amount more. 3/10 Atmospheric Aether Instant Target creature gets -3/-3 until end of turn. If that creature isn't an Aetherborn or Elemental, it gets -5/-5 until end of turn instead.

- Target creature gets -2/-0 and cannot block this turn.
One thing: Please don't try to write in what other people's characters are thinking; the book does not in fact, "know" that it has screwed up. It's generally common etiquette to mostly stick to trying to perform actions on other characters and leaving the reactions to the writers. Thanks! Power Surge: Doesn't really address Angular Assault. -X/-0 and can't block in white and blue are suspect, though I don't think they screw with color weaknesses too much. Still not comfortable with it and still mostly not okay. 6 - 1/10 for not replying to the card --> 5/10
As the book catches fire, a set of runes light up. Are these what's protecting the book from being burned once and for all? They appear to be fending off the flames - at least, for now anyways. The book is in a perpetual state of being burned up but not quite in a state of combustion yet, but the pages still appear to be completely white... could it be a good idea to burn the seal surrounding the book? The Fourth Seal Enchantment Creatures you control have hexproof and can't attack. : CARDNAME loses all abilities until end of turn. Any player may activate this ability, but only any time they could cast a sorcery. Some secrets are best left hidden.

The man points off slightly in the distance, where a siren is charging for a shimmering duplicate of Januti.
Center of Attention Scheme When you set this scheme in motion, create a token that's a copy of target creature, except it has "While an opponent is choosing targets as part of casting a spell they control or activating an ability they control, that player must choose at least this creature if able."

-I'll just give it a neutral 7/10 as I had some work to do over the summer, wasn't able to do anything. BUT I'M BACK! Januti hadn't realise what situation he was in, and so he ignored the message. He was soon knocked down by the vampire and went down. For a very long time. The man left him and Januti never get to know about him. Januti also never get to race in the machine he borrowed from. Nor was he able to finish the interview at that time. He wouldn't mind getting in touch with them, but he's fine without them as well. Months later he woke up. His house is still there, but now with cobwebs and everything strange he could imagine. Those cute devils left though. While he was unconsious he went to a strange place that he remembered as 'Earth'. The people there all have strange names such as 'James', 'Nyck' or 'Li'. Some of them are also fan of machines and he had fun with them. He still remembers how to build those machines, or at least part of some. and so he went to build what he still has left. He's trying to live his life as if those months didn't pass. Prototyping Instant Draw a card. Put two +1/+1 counters on target artifact Vehicle.

Don't play mill so not a master of cards of them. 7/10 At this point both people know they've been trying to hide their thoughts from each other, so he tries to comprimise. "Let's make a deal then. I'll have the letter but will not open it until you say it's safe for me to read about it. It may take you a few days to find out, but I'm cool with it. Before that, this letter will safe and away from anyone's reach, alright? In the meantime, I'll continue to develop the delivery car and see if I can make anymore improvements."

Burial of Londu Naim - 7/10 since I'm not a master in these. Also not fancy doing stuff without stories atm.
Januti had a wierd flashback whist designing the car for Pidge. He's never been to his former teammate's burial. But somehow it was very clear as if it happened yesterday. "What is that? I better forget about it."

Pidge uneasily holds the letter, not quite handing it to him, but not keeping it from him.
// The front of the envelope simply has the address, Januti, Arena, written in a golden ink. // The back of the envelope is held together with a wax seal of a jester's head.
The letter, if Januti does decide to open it after being warned, reads:
To be blessed with complete victory, copy this letter and send it to five friends. If you do not do this, all around you will crash and burn. - JUnknown Fate Sorcery This spell costs less to cast for each colorless nonland permanent you control. The next spell you cast this turn can't be countered. Draw a card, then abound. (To abound, you may cast a nonland card that costs less than this from your hand without paying its mana cost.)
a weird one. Seal Away - name is weird but effect is fine 9/10
