blueseclipseI nodded as he explained. "The purpose of New Phyrexia. Sounds like something to find out to me. Give me a bit, and I'll come back to you with something." I said.So needing of purpose. An excellent target, indeed.Observing Construct: I'd probably feel better with this at 1/2. Still, compared to Mind's Eye, it's pretty good. Though it is just the one card. Maybe for the current stats? 9/10.

I could smell him from a mile away. He smelled sweet and bloody, like rot and rust. This was someone I had to meet.
"Hello, Mr. Machine? My name is Hanska, and you have the most interesting scent."---There's a young woman standing in front of you in a green cloak. She's trying to hide the fact that she's licking the air - and more or less failing.Priestess of Vices - Creature - Vampire Cleric InfectAt the beginning of each player's upkeep, that player draws a card and loses 1 life if they're poisoned. 1/1 Hey, we're Infect buddies! :3 While Priestess of Vices is certainly interesting, it's a bit underpowered given that it's giving the opponent card advantage if they take a single poison counter. I'd either give it some additional toughness, or maybe make it so they lose life equal to the number of poison counters they have. Not bad, though - 8/10. (And yes, we are Infect buddies, though we definitely flavor it differently.I look at the woman as she licks at the air, blinking. "I have been named as Khon Vasq," I reply to her. "...I find myself confused as to what you are trying to achieve by licking at the air as you are."Compleated Sentinel Artifact Creature - Golem You do not lose the game for having 10 or more poison counters. 3/3 "Oh, terribly sorry - your smell really is intoxicating. It's like you're just saturated in delicious poisons. Would you mind if I had a taste?" ---Hanska looks surprised at herself. But the question still stands.Splinter the Imperfect - Sorcery - Target player gains a poison counter, then sacrifices an artifact for each poison counter they have. "The flawed have no right to artifice."Compleated Sentinel seems pretty fair, if a little niche - it has a fragile body, and only really matters if you're facing down an Infect deck. But in that situation... hoo boy. You just slapped their entire offensive in the face. 8/10

"Sleep, and may your dreams be untroubled by artifice and frippery."1/1 (Also, take a poison counter thanks to Ylki, Who Is Addiction. You don't have to actually track it unless you want to.) Crawling Chromeshell feels really weird due to not having equip. I mean, I get why (and having artifacts that get turned off by creature kill is interesting, I won't lie), but it does mean that the Chromeshell is of somewhat limited use. I think I'd prefer to see that particular innovation on a different equipment, if that makes sense. Still, I'm going to bump that up to an 8/10 for creativity.

Not bad - it outright kills auras, as well as temporarily negating equipment (which can be a useful combat trick). Chromeshell was supposed to have an Equip ability, I just forgot about it, so I'll take this as a good answer in that context. I like it, though a part of me thinks it should've just been 'Tap target creature. Destroy up to one target permanent attached to that creature.' Speaking of which, the unattach portion should say 'up to one target', since otherwise the ability becomes mostly useless. 8/10"I am a warrior - I offer my services to those causes which I see as valid, and who are willing to offer appropriate compensation for my efforts."Awakening Arsenal Artifact - Equipment When Awakening Arsenal enters the battlefield, for each Equipment you control, create a 0/0 black Germ creature token and attach an Equipment to it that has not already been attached this way. She held up a hand apologetically, stepping back from the man. {Attack Card - Glamour-Eye Swindler} "Are you alright?" While I like the concept behind this card, it's extremely powerful for only costing . You can almost always attack freely with it, knowing that it's either going to get through for one damage or need multiple blockers to get rid of it (and still net you at least one card). It's also capable of dodging removal as well as multi-blocks that would bring it down. I feel like the triggered ability should have you choose one blocker to change to base power 1 until EoT, rather than afflicting all blockers - otherwise, it probably should cost a bit more (either or ). Still, as I said, I like the concept. 7/10"I am fine," I reply to the woman, taking a moment to examine her, trying to confirm that she was not cut by any of my blades. "You are unharmed?"

Khon Vasq, Master of Blades: I like it, but it has (imo) one big problem, it loses loyalty while being a creature. So, Even though it is a 1/1, if it gets to 0 loyalty it will die. This can be solved by preventing all damage that would be dealt to it (a la Gideon) or to make it not be a planeswalker (a la Sarkhan or this Rixos). Also, I think you can save a line of text by saying that it has power and toughness equal to the number of loyalty counters on it plus one or something like that. I will give it a 7/10 because a like the idea a lot. Not bad at all - an interesting reshuffle of my own card. In some places more powerful, in some places less. The only thing I dislike is the reduction of all artifact costs here - it breaks theme a bit. It's not bad overall, though. 8/10
I nod, and observe him before replying, "A short sword may work, but I would recommend a rapier, or similar style of weapon such as an epee - it is easy to carry, works well as a defensive weapon, and on many planes is seen as a symbol of wealth and status when worn, so would likely aid your business ventures." I consider for a moment, before withdrawing a blade of my own - a rounded hilt, and a blade that is roughly an inch wide at the base, and starts to taper to a pinpoint around halfway up its length. A dull glow flickers across the edge of the weapon, and I say, "It is suited more for thrusting than slashing, but I recommend making certain your blade is capable of holding an edge, and durable enough to cut when needed - magic may aid in reinforcing it as needed. I have dulled the edge and tip of this weapon for the moment, so that it can serve as a training tool - if you do not know how to do so, I can assist with this as well."
Duelist's Blade Artifact - Equipment Equipped creature gets +1/+1 and has first strike. Equip blueseclipse "Oh no no no! I was just passing through and..." her words drifted off, her eyes...definitely focusing on the metalwork of the man in front of her. "Alright, I might have tried to run into you. I mean, it's not often you see someone made of...metal." She spoke sheepishly this time, clearly embarrassed by bringing it up again. "Is this a bad time? I can always find you some other day if that's better." {Response Card - Active Research} Loyalist's Banner: Like Homeward Path but actively preventing other forms of card nabbing. Neat. Could probably be cheaper. 7/10 While I definitely like the idea, the biggest issue is that the card simply isn't mono-blue. Red I could potentially see getting something like this, and definitely , but not blue alone - the only card mono-blue ever got to create a golem token was Wing Splicer, which was part of a partial cycle, and didn't recurringly create the token. The closest analogy to this is Hammer of Purphoros. It also doesn't really feel like there's any research being done - it's all development. The name makes me expect card draw, scry, tutoring or something along those lines. The idea is good - I would've made it a card (or made the golem create activation ), and added another ability with a cost that lets you remove a counter to draw a card. As it is, though, it's a 5/10.
"I am not otherwise occupied at present," I reply, "I simply was uncertain if you sought me out for a purpose or not. I have been named as Khon Vasq," I introduce myself. "I ask now for your name and purpose."Conversion Engine Artifact When Conversion Engine enters the battlefield, remove all counters from artifacts, enchantments and lands. For each counter removed from a permanent this way, put a charge counter on that permanent. Whenever one or more counters of any type would be put on a noncreature, nonplaneswalker permanent, instead put that many charge counters on that permanent. All noncreature permanents have " , Remove a charge counter from this permanent: Add ." blueseclipse Without warning, the device AKH gave to Khon makes a loud buzzing noise.Commlink Artifact : Draw a card, then target opponent may draw a card. If they don't, you discard a card. While this isn't bad, I can't help but feel it's a bit undercosted. Temple Bell is the closest analogue I can come up with, costing and having each player draw a card. Maybe make the tap ability cost to activate? I like the idea, but it doesn't feel like the balance is quite there. The name also makes me think it should be an equipment... 7/10 as it is.I take out the device that I was provided by AKH and look at it for a moment, inspecting it to see if there is a button of some sort. Failing to find one, I instead speak, "AKH, if you are trying to signal me, I am here - I do not know how I would activate this device to respond, however."
Otherworldly Technology Artifact At the beginning of your upkeep, if you have exactly four cards named Otherworldly Technology and no other cards in your hand, you may reveal your hand. If you do, you win the game. , Exile Otherworldly Technology: Search your library for an artifact card, reveal it, and put it into your hand, then shuffle your library.

Scry 1, then look at the top card of your library. If it's the named card, you may reveal it, sacrifice ~, then draw three cards. This is a nice card, really. I like the feel behind it, and I think it's well-balanced. 10/10Broke spacetime? What could that mean? I frown at the message, before nodding to myself. "I will seek out AKH, then, and proceed from there." With that, I turn and head off to where the great machine was previously. Could supply some serious ramp in the right circumstances, I like it. 9/10 While the first part of this makes sense, allowing you and someone else to look at each other's hands, I don't understand the last ability there. Is it saying that the chosen player can pay mana and cast the spells themselves (either stealing the spell, or as a copy)? Is it meant to be like Assist, except only allowing the chosen player to contribute (rather than letting you choose another player to contribute)? I think it would need reminder text explaining it, or just use the Assist mechanic. If it's meant to essentially turn you into that player's teammate, it might be better to make it so that it only works if the other player also has this conspiracy, and just say 'Other players who have Information Game face up in their command zone are considered your teammates. Spells you cast have assist.' And then give it some way of turning it face down. Even then it would be complex, and probably unnecessary. I think I get the idea behind it, and the idea isn't bad, but the complexity kills it. 5/10"I have made enemies, yes - I have yet to find any purpose or cause that everyone agrees with." I think you would be fine with Equip 3, but the idea is nice. 8/10 I like that creature - it would make perfect sense as a common or uncommon, and fits perfectly into an 'auras/equipment' archetype. It might be better off as a 1/2 at common, though (and with no rarity, I can't accurately tell where it should be in that regard). 9/10I nod, and flip the sword around, grasping the blade and offering the hilt to the merchant. "I am certain that you will have little issues finding a blade to suit your own purposes. If you would like, you can use that for the moment while I show you some basic maneuvers," I say as I draw another similar blade, quickly dulling its edges and tip as well. blueseclipse Signal Scrambler: This is a definite upgrade over Mindlock Orb, which is probably fine since I don’t think Mindlock Orb ever saw much play. I don’t like that it shuffles the library instead of just preventing the effect, since that seems like it could lead to a lot of unnecessary shuffling. I do like this kind of effect in theory, though. 8/10.“<Thank you, Sir Vasq. They should be on…>”

Not bad, Breya, Etherium Shaper might want this. 7/10 This should just be and say "Exile target creature you control. Return it to the battlefield at the beginning of the next end step. Draw a card." simply because it's not a repeatable effect on the creature (and as such, there's no reason to give the ability to the creature) - it won't flicker back in until end of turn (when the ability would wear off), but even if it did flicker back in immediately, it would be considered a different object (and as such would no longer have the ability). This also should not be by any means - Siren's Ruse is easily the closest analogue to this, and it costs less at common, with a conditional draw trigger. You could price this at and be fine with unconditional draw. 5/10I consider for a moment, before nodding and gesturing for the woman to lead the way.
