Welcome to the Card of the Week Contest! To participate in this Contest you'll have to design a card along the contest guidelines and throw it into the arena with other competitors' entries! At the end of each week, a winner will be determined by forum poll. The winner's card will be rendered and featured on the Welcome page, and the winner decides the challenge for the next week's Contest! Here we go, competitors: our two-hundred and twelveth challenge!
The winners of the "Meant to be yours" poll were kinotherapy (left) and Yoshi (right) with... And the challenge issued by one of our winners was... Transforming cards have been found to be rather popular. Whether it be the flavorful transformations of werewolves in Innistrad, the powerful sparkers of Magic Origins or the grotesque amalgamations of Meld in Eldritch Moon, transform has returned a number of times, each time bringing something a little bit different. Your challenge this week is to riff on the transformers from Ixalan - design a transform card with a nonland front side that flips into a land!
Additionally, please try to keep your entry edits all in one post - if you need to change it you can put your old entry in a spoiler marked "Old entry" and leave the newest rendition to be seen. I actually tried making a cycle for the allied colour pairs not too long ago, with varying success. I already posted my first, second and third favourites in various challenge threads, so here is my 4th favourite  Stampeding Wilds    Legendary Enchantment  Whenever one or more creatures you control attack, exile the top card of your library. If it’s a creature card, you may put it on the battlefield tapped and attacking. Return it to your hand at end of combat. Whenever a creature you control deals 4 or more combat damage to an opponent, you may transform Stampeding Wilds. // Teocalli of the Lost ValleyLegendary Land (Transforms from Stampeding Wilds.) : Add one mana of any color to your mana pool. : Add X mana in any combination of and/or to your mana pool, where X is the greatest power among creatures you control. |

Call the Hero Sorcery Search your library for a legendary creature card, reveal it, put it into your hand, then shuffle your library. Whenever a legendary creature you control dies, you may pay . If you do, return Call the Hero from your graveyard to the battlefield transformed. ~~ Catacomb of the HeroLand : Add two mana of any one color. Spend this mana only to cast legendary spells.

norench I generally try not to be too bothersome with card text corrections, but I feel it's prudent here. What your card should read like is: Enchant land you don't control When Environmental Disaster enters the battlefield, gain control of enchanted land. At the beginning of the next upkeep of its owner, destroy it, then return Environmental Disaster from your graveyard to the battlefield transformed under your control. Some explanation: - The property of an Aura that makes it actually enchant a creature is its own keyword (Enchant <thing>) that picks a target upon casting. It doesn't need to be written out. - At the time the land is destroyed, Environmental Disaster will already have gone to its owner's graveyard as a result; thus, in order for the Wastes to get to the battlefield, it needs to be returned from that graveyard.

I figure with the technology of glass beads at the level they are today, this could be doable:
Engulfing Sinkhole  ::iswubrg:: Enchantment  Sacrifice a land named Wastes: Put a colorless counter on Engulfing Sinkhole.
Sacrifice a basic Plains: Put a white counter on Engulfing Sinkhole.
Sacrifice a basic Island: Put a blue counter on Engulfing Sinkhole.
Sacrifice a basic Swamp: Put a black counter on Engulfing Sinkhole.
Sacrifice a basic Mountain: Put a red counter on Engulfing Sinkhole.
Sacrifice a basic Forest: Put a green counter on Engulfing Sinkhole.

sdfkjgh: A few things: 1) If you need different colored beads to represent different counters, you've probably gone too far - it's like +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters on the same card but way worse. 2) If you need eleven lines of text, you've gone too far. I'd just recommend redoing this tbh.

Could format it like Azor's Gateway, like "Exile a basic land you control: [some minor effect because this card is pretty awful otherwise]. Then if there is are cards of each basic land type exiled with ~" etc |

The orb is the key to open the power of the tempel there bend time itself. But you need to power the orb up, before you places it at the top of the tempels keyhold, unlocking it powers. {Entry}  |
